Morning everyone, overcast here but mild enough, and chance of some sun later they say…
Just pie and mash to cook for lunch then this afternoon I’m going to make a new large planter for one of Rosemary’s tree ferns, and hopefully then find time to plant out some seedlings…

The day of my eye retest. Chap round the corner is always asking if he can have Holly to stay so I have relented and said he can have her for an hour or so, while I am in town. She adores him, and he loves fussing her. He is usually in his side yard, tinkering with a car or whatever, and Holly knows he is there from the other side of the road. And he sometimes tells me if the ISS is due to fly over so we stop and look for it. Also his wife owns a dog friendly cafe in nearby Gorleston, so they should be trustworthy.

Been to Sainsbury’s for my weekly shop, just got a bread making, and now doing this.
Defrosting freezers. I use a hair dryer, and lots of towels and sponges.
Sun is out now. The sprinkler I bought that is solar powered is working ok now when the sun hits it.

I am going to Wickes later to get some top lattice type panels for my fences. Wind damage, well they are old.
That will keep me occupied for a few hours.
I also expect that I will go later with my daughter shopping, for them down the road. She gets hers and I get there’s.

It’s Tony’s birthday today so the day will revolve around him. Ady & Paula are taking us to lunch & the girls will be coming at some point.
I’m going to wake him up with his presents & a cup of coffee in a minute. I’ve got him a watch that tells the day & month, two jigsaw puzzles, 2 wild-life DVD’s & a box of chocolates…

No idea what the weather will be like and not really worried about it today.
I’m in the waiting patiently pattern and just enjoying the day. Kitty kat is purring away, knows Mummy needs calm, cleaver kittoo.
Now, basic morning routine done, it’s coffee and OJ time. Then at 11am breakfast for 
putting phone on and releasing to the universe.
Off to the kitchen, 8 ounces of caffeine Stat!

Will decide what to do after all personal and dog jobs are done, check the weather and see.
Booked Holly’s kennel cough Vax yesterday, £20 cheaper than her old vet, who have apparently shoved us off their books. I was under the impression I could have stayed on both, had been elsewhere this past year or so for cheaper injections, and because vet no. 2 had asked for her history, vet no. 1 have said we are no longer with them. Vet no. 2 may be independent and cheaper, but awkward to get to. We are booked in at 4.45, so I moaned I would catch the rush hour traffic and was told vet is in surgery between 10-3 each day and ‘we all want a piece of him, so vaccination clinic is between 5-6’.
They have accommodated me earlier but she wouldn’t hear of it.
Argh!!

Blue sky and sunshine at the moment, but still a cold easterly wind.
Off to the Wednesday coffee and chat later. They are organising a St George’s day party. With the option Of chips, or pie and mash. (Got to pay for whatever one is having.) I and my new mate are having just chips, he suggested getting some pork pies to go with the chips. I got some, but I wonder if he will remember.
I don’t know if the lady down the road is coming, not heard from her yet.
I think I shall bus it today.

Spent an hour or more assembling my potting bench. Couldn’t find any instructions so just made it up as I went along. 
. Finished about 1pm, so now have lunch cooking (lamb shank, potatoes and veg).
Bit late for going out, but it’s quite nice in the garden. Hoping to get more time out there later, once lunch eaten and dog walked, but I bet neighbours will think otherwise. 
The wood looks ok but I am wondering whether to give it a coat of paint.
Oh My Gosh, time flew by today. It’s 9pm, dinner’s in the oven. BBQ Chicken Wings and a batch of garlic and herbs flavoured chips.
Freezer work around 4am and last minute for fridge. Then hopefully, they’ll send a text message to say how soon there’ll be here with delivery.
Friday, after another week recuperating from head colds, both me and daughter, we’ll wander into grocery stores with face coverings to protect the others around us. Restocking is the goal lol!
Watching “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children” third one after the only two (
) Percy Jackson films.

Time on the allotment hopefully? Horse owner in my road might bring some bagged horse manure home for me, and I can take that over to either put in my compost bin, or fill a spare raised bed to rot down. Have to empty the bags so she can refill.
Or I might go off and get some shopping. Need spuds.
Morning everyone, almost a frost here again last night, good job we covered over the seedlings!
Nothing much on the agenda other than taking Mum out for a carvery lunch and picking up some paraffin on the way home for the greenhouse heater, maybe a frost or two to come yet methinks…
