Chit Chat Thread (Part 2)

There has to news programs and other programs do it but it really baffles and annoys me.

On GMTV an item on vaccine passports which ‘Our Great Leader’ up here in Scotland decided we need but as yet details on how it will work are thin on the ground, but that aside, a presenter was sent to give her report from an empty night club at 06.30, why?

On other occasions there is flooding somewhere so a presenter stands in the floodwater to make her report, why?

Good morning all.

Got a Carpenter coming this morning to hang Six Interior Solid Oak Doors and all the fittings, lots of dust for me to clean up afterwards, will probably need to sit with the Cat when doing the Bedroom doors.

Have a nice day all.

Morning.

What I hate about tv interviews, is when you see the interviewee walking a few steps along the road, or a corridor, just before doing their speech. Why??? If you’re putting their name and profession up on the screen, then that silly walk is superfluous.

Morning all, just back from doing the Tesco shop and having a brew with a few minutes on here before tackling my duties in the kitchen. The rain is easing now so hopefully we’ll walk the dogs after lunch, but thankfully we’ve a good size garden so they can always have a run around and perform out there anyway.

Enjoy your day everyone

Another 2am toilet run for dog ,
Ive 2 deliveries coming today , one from Range the other Iceland .
Nothing planned for the rest of day .

Good morning all.
Rain? That was not rain earlier. Even Minnie would not go out for her first p of the day until it eased off for a few minutes. It has almost stopped now, and can see bright patch approaching from the west. so will go out on the usual stroll around the fields.
Nothing yet planed for today. So will just let it happen.

Good morning all.

Going into Gorleston this morning, to Iceland and the Card Shop, Hubby will take me and hold on to me in the card shop and get me a trolley to hold onto in Iceland.

Have a nice day all.

Good morning Susie, really sorry to hear of your continuing health struggles, must be a nightmare for you…:disappointed:

Morning all, dry here at the moment but forecast a really wet day later, so we’ll get the dogs out in a minute or two to the forest then it can please itself after we get back.

No plans other than to bake a couple of pies later and maybe watch a film this afternoon.

Wishing you a pleasant day everyone

Morning all.

Will be dodging the rain later, I expect, for dog walks, but also I will be walking round the corner to the hair salon, for my hair cut. Trying them out.

Good morning all.
Overcast here and not too warm.
Done the Minnie walk, laundry in the dryer.
Every one and their brother online locally is in a panic about getting petrol. I had to pop into Morrison yesterday, and the Q was about 3 hundred yards around the car park for fuel.
I don’t have much in my car but don’t need to go anywhere. If I do I can get the bus. Got enough to go to Sainsbury’s on Tuesday for my shopping.

Good morning all, cooler here this morning but a bright and dry forecast for the day I think. :sunglasses:

Off to visit eldest son and family in Leicester later, not seen them for months so really looking forward to it.

Have a pleasant Sunday everyone

Good morning all, its another miserable day outside, got my heating on.
Nothing planned for the day.
Have a nice day all.

Turned into a beautiful morning if a bit cold up here in Edinburgh.
Got a couple of squirrels doing their best to fill, what we laughingly call a lawn, full of holes. :grinning:

Morning all.

Gah, that rain yesterday, lasted from about 1 till goodness knows when. Had taken the dog out about 12.45, briefly, then around 7.30, she needed a wee so we just went outside the house. Both got quite wet. Then about 11.30 I got out of bed and took her outside again, for a last wee. It had stopped raining by then.

Going to whizz to Morrisons and PaH shortly, then both dog and I will leave about 12.30 to meet a coffee group lady for a pub lunch. Afterwards, we will pop in to see my sis, on our way home, and get to hear about their few days down in Devon.

Nope. Staying home till we go to lunch. I can do the other shopping tomorrow while dog is being groomed. Having a sit down and mug of tea instead.

A good late morning all from me.
I have been in a bit of a panic about petrol for my car. As it is a conversation to a mobility, the fuel gauge is always wrong, so I never really know how much I have in the tank. It’s all a guess. I realise that I have a few more journeys to do this week than I expected.
Had to go to my daughters to pick up a few things, (she is away for 2 weeks, cat in caterry, hooray) Done that this morning. Sainsbury’s Tuesday, dentist Wednesday.
The gauge was showing just one didget. So was I low? A message came up on my neighbour link that fuel at Morrison no Q. So at 7.45 I dashed out to there. Was no Q straight on a pump. 20.4 litres. Full tank.
Now you work it out. Tank holds 9 gallons so it says in the manual. ( still don’t trust it as the tank was changed with the conversion.) So with just 20 litres to fill it up, how much did I have in the tank. Oh why do I panic.
Light clouds and bit of blue sky in places.

Morning all, just waiting on the bathroom to warm up before showerng this beautiful body i have been blessed with.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Good morning all.

Its shopping day today, so off out at 8am.

Nothing else planned for the day apart from House Cleaning.

Have a nice day all.

Good morning all, chilly again first thing and showers for later they say, so just another average autumn day then…:sunglasses:

No big plans for the day, just a tagine for lunch from the freezer and maybe put the comb through the dogs this afternoon.

Hope you are all well, have a pleasant day if you can.

Good morning all.
Blue sky but chilly out. Should be good today as I saw one of the foxes sunbathing whilst out with Minnie.
Bread being made and should finish in 30 minutes.
I am waiting for my friend to phone me about 10am to tell me she is on the bus to me. Then I shall dash out and when the bus that she is on comes, I will get on and proceed to the high street market. Although there is normally no market on Monday, we are going to the arcade to get shoes.
On the way back we will go into Sainsbury’s for lunch.
