Good morning everybody.
It’s a lovely bright morning here.
I think we might do a bit of pottering in the garden today.
Have a good day all…

Morning all, a frost here overnight but bright now and looks like being a nice day ahead. Amazing how quickly it warms the conservatory up now the sun is higher, 29°C yesterday afternoon, nearly too warm!
Just waiting for the plumber to arrive to service the boiler and I may just potter around in the garden later on.
Enjoy your day folks
Spex no good, so having a retest in 2 weeks time. So busy in there today that when I went back to have the LD pair adjusted (arms) I was eating through my 2 hr car parking session. Just had time to walk round to the pet shop after.
When I got home, after a cuppa, I sowed some more seeds to keep in the garden greenhouse for now.
Morning all.
Got our cafe meet first then no idea what to do afterwards. It looks to be a sunny day so I’d best not waste it.
Morning all.
Brilliant sunshine here.
Not going out today.
Have a nice day all.
Morning everyone, a good frost again this morning but the sun is up now and looks like being a nice one. I covered up the plants last night but no more frost forecast for awhile now thank goodness.
Just back from a walk around the pond which was quite spectacular with the low sun and mist rising. Now enjoying a brew before going over to Mum’s to give her lawns a cut. Probably more gardening here then this afternoon.
Have a good day folks
Good morning all.
That’s a nice picture Barry.
Weather is the same here this morning, nice. I even sat out in the garden for a while yesterday.
At last I have an appointment with the vet for 1.20pm today.
So apart from that, nothing else planed yet.
Morning all.
Yes, certainly a very good photo.
Holly and I have visitors this morning. The man, a window cleaner, and his missus, used to deliver for the local Chinese. The dog began to recognise his van and would scrabble to get inside for a fuss. They have now left but are calling round today (a) to collect some items I have for the lady’s son, for his flat (made some room indoors, yay), and (b) to see both of us and for a catch up/update. I expect Holly will go mad when she sees them.
After that I have no idea. Depends when they leave, what time I have.
Good Morning Jazzi and all who come in
That sounds like fun, Jazzi, Holly will love seeing old friends, much tail wagging!
Have fun everyone
Good morning all.
They say it’s going to rain later, but it’s ok now.
So I took Minnie to the PDSA vet yesterday. The thing in her eye is a scratch. The very nice lady vet put some drops in the eye that made it green. Also Minnie has put on weight 800 gram since we went there In January. So has to loose that. I left with some drops for the eye, and stuff for rheumatics, and £37 lighter. Much cheaper than a normal vet would charge.
I also have to get some Calpol 6 +. I have tried a couple of places, but they don’t have any.
As I am going to the Wednesday club later, I will try the 4 places that are local during the morning.
If no luck, my daughter has some that I can go get.
Morning all, Good to see that you got Minnie sorted @Emjay , such a worry. when your pet is suffering…
Nothing much happening here today, just a re-heated casserole for lunch and maybe a film this afternoon.
Enjoy your day folks
Hope Minnie will have some improvement now.
Just prepped chicken and veg, and waiting for the guests. Hopefully they will be here soon.
April, it’ll be a difficult month due that as the 30th comes, reality kicks in and it’ll be a year that hubby passed away…
No matter how much daughter and I smile, laugh and live, there’s a feeling of emptiness which lingers…
We’ve accomplished so much in so little time but all on our own without support. Regardless, we’re going forward with hope in our hearts.
Blessed be!
Blessed be Supernatural, March is my sad month for memories
It sounds as though you and your daughter have done really well but that emptiness never quite goes away, it’s just that over time it gets filled with the happy memories xxxxx
Sending hugs to you both.
Oh I’m sorry to hear that dear @Maree . March for me, it’s just my birth month as it ends.
It’s my seventh time losing a loved one. The ones closest were 1974 Papa, 2017 my son & 2022 hubby.
You’re correct the emptiness exists even after 49 years.
Thank you!
Morning all.
Emjay glad that Minnie’s problems were only a scratch and she is being treated now.
My thoughts are with you Supernatural.
Hope tradesman turns up this morning Janet.
Have a nice day all.
Morning everyone, another damp day here by the look of it, so another easy day ahead for me with just a curry to cook for lunch and nothing else planned at the moment.
Have a pleasant day folks
Morning all.
Up with the alarm, as the plumber is expected right now. Hoping he won’t be here for long.
I have asked the builder, expected today at 10 for the garden post, if he wants to put off till tomorrow. I am wondering if the cement won’t set in the rain, and that it would be uncomfortable to work in. Their choice. I’m ok with either day. Just that they are booked up for next week.
