Like elsewhere, it is raining but not too bad and it eased off allowing Minnie and I to do a slog around the very muddy field.
No idea what I am going to do today. So I shall just let it happen.

Morning all, dull again here and another damp day forecast, but we managed to get round the walk OK so no complaints.
Nothing planned other than making a light lunch of broad beans and bacon on toast, then maybe catch a film this afternoon.

The south western corner of the field is flooded, as it does when it rains heavenly.
We still managed our morning stroll.
I managed to contact the PDSA after many attempts yesterday. They said send a photo of Minnie’s eye which I did.
Still not heard from them.
No plans for today, so will just let it happen.

Thanks for the welcome. I just wanted to give myself a little break from social media. I need to keep away from the iPad as I tend to sit with it a lot during the day, especially when in front of the tv. I don’t know how my brother and SiL cope. It’s just all day every day with them, though they do upgrade to larger iPads. Good for them, I say.
Horrible weather here still. No chance to do further work on the allotment. Still haven’t got the Wilko walk in greenhouse up, as I have yet to level some ground for it. My seedlings in the back garden mini greenhouse are doing ok though, and the parsnips, which I germinated in the food bag, are still doing well.
Up late this morning, and not done a constructive thing: had hoped to maybe join Susie in town, but no chance at this rate. She’ll be making her way home by the time I’d be ready, lol.
Emjay, good luck with poor Minnie. Hope she gets seen to soon.

Good morning everyone, cool overnight but a sunny day forecast, so we are going to risk a walk and a picnic at Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire. OK so the picnic might be sat in the car, but a change of scenery will make a nice change wherever we eat our egg and cress sandwiches…

It is also still cold and overcast here.
Done the morning stroll.
I did get a reply from the PDSA but it was not much help. So I went and bought some drops that was recommended. It took me 3 different chemists to find them and cost £15.
I did use them yesterday. When I look and study her eye, I think that it is the caterac that is bothering her. So there is not much that can be done about it.
Nothing else planed yet for today.

I only got up about an hour ago but hey, it’s Sunday.
No plans, let’s just see how the day pans out. Might crack under pressure and message little sis. Not seen her for weeks and she seems to be staying under the radar for some reason. It’s always me who enquires first.

Already have a bread making.
I would normally be going to Sainsbury’s shortly for my weekly shop, but I have been volunteered to take Nina’s FIL to the clinic for a blood test at 10.30. Then I shall go to Sainsbury’s after I come back and drop him home.
Still a bit cold out, but could be another nice day.
I even sat out in the garden for a while yesterday, and the sun was warm.
The expensive drops I bought for Minnie don’t seem to be having an affect. So I am still waiting for the vet to contact me. They seem just as bad as trying to get a Dr appointment.
