I’m up bright & early - got the gas man coming at 8.00am to service my boiler.
I think we will have a trip to town later. I need to return a parcel via Evri & pay a cheque into the bank.
While we’re there we’ll have a walk in the woods & visit Wetherspoons…

Morning all, a little rain in the night but cleared now, but more forecast for later with frost overnight they say…
Nothing much planned, just cooking pie and mash for lunch and preparing some fruit for the freezer.

Minnie was good last night. I had to wake her a 0645. I was going to see if she would wee in the night in the ‘wet room’, In the shower part. That would be easy to wash away. It would have saved us going down the stairs, unlocking the doors, then coming back again to bed in the small hours of the night.
Ok. Cold out and felt a few spots of rain.
Off shortly to Sainsburys for my main weekly shop.
@Emjay did Minnie go on command? That sounds a good idea.
A nice day out with sis. I spent a lot of money, but it was good. Had a good hour and half at home, a cup of tea, phoned older sis, to discuss our SiL in hospital, then went off to collect Holly about 5.30.
We are now on the sofa for the evening.

Another busy day. Cafe meet this morning, then late afternoon I am at our surgery for blood test and ecg. Good job I checked my calendar yesterday. So much going on this week, with Thursday just as hectic.

Just the usual pottering about for me this morning, and this afternoon I’m going to prune my blueberry and gooseberry bushes but no other plans.

It rained in the night, but the morning stroll around the field was not as muddy as expected. That might be as the grounds people had the big roller out the other day. They fill the rollers with water to give it more weight. It’s a big thing, motor powered.
I netted another 2 dead fish from the pond this morning. Don’t know why, but I also fished another 3 over the last week.
Jan. No the wet room thing did not work. She just stood there looking at me. So I had to take her out.
Dogs and bathrooms. Noodle, my very clever dog that I once had, jumped into the bath and did I wee in it. That’s the one in my ‘avitar’.
Blood test at my surgery, then nurse did the ecg. She said it looked fine. Phew.
A roll of black tarmac rushed into a pub and asked the barman for somewhere to hide. The barman said you can hide in the back but why?. The roll of black tarmac said to avoid being beaten up. So the roll of black tarmac hid in the back just in time before a roll of red tarmac entered the pub. Ranting and raging the roll of red tarmac demanded to know if a rolll of black tarmac had been in. The barman said no wanting to protect the roll of black tarmac. So the roll of red tarmac left and the barman said it was ok to come out from hiding to roll of black tarmac.
The barman being curious asked why did the roll of red tarmac wanted to beat the roll of black tarmac up?
Wait for it !

I am expecting the plumber late morning for the boiler service. While I wait I can fiddle about doing housework, and work out what’s for lunch and dinner.
Hope those of you with snow and bad weather are ok. Me, I’m keeping the heating on.

Sleeting here and only did a short walk this morning.
I shall drive to the coffee and chat group this morning as I have to drop the results of the weeks blood pressure readings into the surgery.
Also I will pick up my neighbour that now comes with me.
Susie no Noodle was a lurcher so the rescue centre said. (They named her Noodle).
Morning all, cold here too and forecast snow for this evening and overnight but we’ll ll see, it’s rare that they get it right…
Back from the usual dog walk now and having a brew before heading off to the nursery to get some new blueberry bushes, as my existing ones were past their sell by because of my neglect.
Curry for lunch then maybe catch a film this afternoon.

Just finished next week’s Unforgotten. There is no telly where I will stay for 2 nights, and obviously no wifi, so made sense to catch up with it now. At the Travelodge Wed and Thursday nights. Telly and more comforts, hopefully.
