Afternoon all, had a trip around the Poole Harbour today then a picnic and a walk at Upton Country Park, cold wind but mild enough and dry, as good as it gets in February what more could you ask…

I once did one of those trips. I love Poole. Would travel on the bus that leaves Bournemouth, through Swanage, onto Poole, then back to Bournemouth. Very happy days.

We are heading to West Bay for a walk round this morning before driving to Beaminster to meet with yet more relatives for yet another pub lunch! Home tomorrow though, and probably go on a diet then for a week to shed the extra pounds from this week’s gorgefest…

The only time we went to Poole, was to get the fast ferry to Jersey with the car and dog Noodle.
I also went again to Jersey but by plane from city airport. That took a fraction of the time as via boat.

I have a bread making, and using a different timing. It takes 4 hours instead of the usual 2 that I was using. Same ingredients, but a more rise and softer.

Cold and a frost. But I can see some orrible clouds heading this way.
As usual for a Friday, lunch at Morrisons, and then dinner at my daughter’s.
I was trying to get free road tax for my car. I thought that as I now have a blue badge, I would qualify. But no. It would seem that you have to be receiving the higher rate of cash support to qualify. Now that I find strange. If you get top cash support, you qualify for it free, But them that get nothing don’t.

It is very cold out here. Just glad to get back in from the early walk.
As usual for a Saturday, laundry being done.
My daughter has gone to the IOW until Monday, so cat duty for me.
Did I mention that I was thinking of getting an Ebike? Not going to now, as it seems that most of them are illegal. The police are seizing them that have ‘throttle’ control. This it seems started in New York.
So all those guys that do food and other deliveries, now become unemployed or use a normal bike.

My brother bought a mobility scooter yesterday, and talked about paying insurance. I asked what it was for…third party liability, theft, etc., he replied he didn’t know. *sigh.

Yes when I went out at 0700 it was cold and frosty.
Why so early? That horrible little dog woke me up at 0545 to go out for a pee. I went back to bed and 10 minutes later she wanted to go out again for a poo.
Made and had breakfast, took her out around the field. I was just going to go do my daughters cat. I then noticed that that horrible little dog had done a wee in the kitchen. ARRRRG.

Done the cat, and now trying to relax with a cuppa.
Oh no, the aging pet. She doesn’t have dementia, does she?

I might put together the little Wilko greenhouse I went out for yesterday, get it outside. Seems with the forecasted beast from the east I have no idea when my allotment one will be put up. I might start some trays off indoors, then move outside later.
