I now get early wake up calls from Minnie. 0550 this morning, then 0620.
At least she did want to walk this morning, but she don’t gallop like she used to do.
Nothing appertaining to the usual today.
So I will just let it happen.

I went back to bed till 9 after a cuppa. Holly got me up sometime in the night, but I’m sure it’s only to check for cats.
Expecting a builder or whatever to call round mid morning, to look at the broken garden post. Advice/quote for repair.
Barry, have a good time away in Dorset, but maybe we will see you checking in in the morning before you go.
No shortage of WiFi in Dorset Jan, so I’ll try to keep in touch now that I’m settled in again, might even start up the photo comp again next month, who knows…

Can’t get a NHS dentist so having to pay private. £1,200!!

Driven down to Dorset today and finally here after a nightmare six hour journey that normally takes four, due to heavy traffic and endless roadworks but hey, we made it here unscathed so onwards and upwards now for a few days seeing relatives.

Good morning all, very mild here in Dorset but quite foggy at the moment, although forecast to clear later.
We are going to visit the Tutankhamen exhibition in Dorchester this morning before meeting with family for lunch at the pub nearby. Some of them we haven’t seen for a couple of years, so really looking forward to it.

Me! All I get to go to is Sainsburys.
I expect that I shall be going there again later today with my daughter. We have to get her in-laws shopping as now they are both housebound. I do theirs, as my daughter does her own.

How’s this for exciting, Emjay. This morning it is the cafe meet, then this evening our local allotment’s association AGM. It is the writing group evening but I’m staying away from them for a few months while I work on projects other than writing. At least attending the AGM is still in keeping with gardening.
Emjay, I don’t go anywhere exciting only shopping.
Decided to cancel my attendance at the AGM. I’m at the time of my life where I don’t enjoy going out in the evening.

I did want to go by bus, as there were a couple of things I wanted to do in the area. If the rain eases off, I might still do the bus.
