I think my own exciting plan for the day is taking out important stuff from the car, and tidying up the main area. (They always chuck everything in the boot and vacuum/wash before giving it back.) It goes in for bodywork repair tomorrow. But as my work was delayed for a week, waiting for the automatic courtesy, I will phone and check first, before leaving.
And I want a roast beef meal, but have to check if any cauli cheese in the freezer. If not, then a different meat.

Going for my booster jab at 10 this morning. My daughter is taking me.
Prostate cancer Barry? Been there, done that, had it removed 13 years ago. I had to have blood tests and checkups for a few years after but it was clear.
The procedure is so different now as I have been told.
No @Emjay , my daughter has breast cancer and itâs she that has been undergoing treatment. Glad youâre ok now though, and although like all old men I have enlarged prostate it isnât at the moment cancerous,⊠at least I hope not⊠

Chucking it down here in Edinburgh, just been out to do the feeders and check if any of my cat friends need a bit of shelter, Buttons is usually around but not this morning.

Had my booster jab yesterday morning. Although I was early, they did me straight away.
If the rain eases I may bus it to my friends. Although I still have some petrol in the car, I am saving that for tomorrowâs shopping.

Emjay, I just mentioned my brotherâs cancer treatment as he was impressed with the NHS at the time.
Will have breakfast then think about getting to the car repairers. Holly has been out already this morning, was just spitting, but has just come down a bit heavier. I think, though, it will pass as the day goes.

Have got Men coming this morning to put up a new Conservatory, we are having one of those Orangee Flat Tiled Roof, so that it looks like a Room, its going to take 3 days to do, so letâs hope it doesnât rain.

Just back from Sainsburyâs and my weekly shop. Forgot to get potatoes as was not on my list. Still have a few and also frozen roasted and chips.
Weather in my part of this world. It was spitting a bit earlier when I did my usual walk with Minnie around the field. But not looking too bad now.

Iâm cross with my plumber, interfering with my boiler controls when he popped round recently for the pressure. He had turned my CH dial round, so this morning I heard the sound of water flowing into my bedroom pipe. I had deliberately turned it to off, so I wouldnât get that. Believe me, it is so annoying when it rushes round the pipes. It stops and starts, so I lie in bed waiting for it. I also had to change batteries in the stat controller, and set it to manual and a lower temp. Iâm not ready yet for my heating.
Cafe meet up this morning. Dog walks. Change bed linen (if I feel like it). Fold up clothes from the airers from yesterdayâs wash, and thatâs my dayâs activities.
