Thanks Susie. I don’t have any problem keeping the food down. It’s just I can’t be bothered to cook anything that requires any effort.
I had a chicken & all the veg, sprouts etc, delivered from Tesco yesterday, so today I am going to cook us a lovely roast chicken dinner. I need to pull my socks up but it’s hard when I feel so washed out all the time. I am not getting over my trauma very easily & still have nightmares & not sleeping more than 5 hrs even with diazepam. Without it I sleep for 2 hours so it’s an improvement.
The doctor prescribed me some happy pills yesterday. (antidepressants) I took them out of the packet last night to take my first one. I read the leaflet accompanying the tablets & was a bit shocked to know they could do you damage if you have heart trouble or have had a recent heart attack. The doctor obviously didn’t read my notes!
More hassle!! I’ve rang the surgery & a doctor is ringing me back.
Hope it’s not the one who goofed!!
Good morning all.
I timed it right this morning. I could feel and see that rain was on its way. So off we went, that is Minnie and I, for our early stroll and mud collection. As we got back there were a few drops coming from the heavens. Now the clouds are shedding the surplus moisture.
Laundry is in the dryer, and some hanging up in the conservatory.
I am not going anywhere today, so I shall find things to amuse myself.
After receiving my latest energy statement yesterday, I am henceforth refusing to put the heating on unless I absolutely need to! I definitely have stopped with the tumble dryer, and will now use the dehumidifier sparingly. They raised my prices despite an email a week ago promising they wouldn’t be. Liars, the lot of them.
Can you tell I’m in a mood?
Best go. Catching the bus shortly, as meeting Susie in town.
I was up at 5.00am. Been prowling round the house looking for my mobile phone which I had mislaid. Finally found it on a downstairs window ledge.
I made a drink & took a diazepam as was feeling anxious & weepy.
I think - weather permitting Tony & I will go a walk round the local park & then have an afternoon film. I’m thinking ‘Pretty Woman’ it’s one of my favourite films…
Good morning all.
Blue sky here at the moment, but had a lot of rain in the night. The field is very muddy.
The footballers came yesterday afternoon, you can tell, as they left their usual mess laying about.
Nothing planed for today, so will just let it happen.
Good morning all.
Just back from Sainsburys with what I need for myself and Minnie.
I went early as I could see horrible looking clouds coming my way.
I do love the scanning thing, no Qs and so simple when you know how. Also I discovered that I can go into the area where you can scan each item. But I can point my reader on the bar code and that works and I can pay with cash, rather in the other area where it is card only.
Now I shall do my daily puzzles, and then maybe read the story I am into on the kindle.
Yes Janet, Poppy is still having the runs with mucas and a bit of blood in her poo.
They have given me Antibiotics done with a Syringe to put in her mouth and special food, she did eat some of the food, but not over keen on it.
Cafe meet this morning. Hostess of writing group has asked when our next meeting is, two of us have responded it is tonight. Waiting for her to confirm it is going ahead, as at her house. I’m all ready even if they aren’t, lol.
I think it might be only three of us today at cafe, though two have yet to reply to my text.
I have a free morning, so following on from writing group last night I have a couple of things to try on the computer. Mind, I have W8.1 which I think is unsupported now, so might have to try downloading 10. That’ll be a faff!!
Then this afternoon some local guy is supposed to be delivering me some pallet collars for the allotment. A cheaper way to make raised beds.
Good morning all.
I saw a crow caught up in one of the goal nets, on our walk this morning. It was dead, so I just left it for the groundsmen to sort out,
Off to the coffee and chat club at the ageUK later.
Apart from that nothing else planed for today.
