Morning all.
Not sure what I will get up to today. It’s raining, or has been, I know that much. I refused to walk Holly late last night, put her coat on her and let her in the garden. So far she hasn’t asked to go back out, and it’s now 8am. Earlier, I took her outside for a wee and we got wet, so again, the third walk was left out. Neither of us likes the rain.
I don’t need or want any shopping, not for a couple more days, and then it’d only be bread and maybe milk.

Well we did, and man did not get too wet, but dog did. Nothing what a large towel can’t cure.
So just had to go on Moonpig.com, to order a birthday card for my daughter. But she is going away tomorrow, and will not be home to receive it. Her birthday is on the 6th January.
Right, not got any plans for today, maybe, just maybe I will try to continue reading that story on my kindle.
Not nice here. We got a bit wet on the dog walk so I plan on staying home today.

Horrible weather yesturday, this morning its dry, but cold, very windy in the night.
Off out at 8am to do our weekly shopping and that’s it for the day.

I plan on staying home again. I just potter about indoors, doing this and that, just waiting for the winter 
and the cold weather to go. Hibernating, in other words. 
I get two pensions paid in tomorrow, so today I will work out how much I need for the month of January, and see if there is enough for a little spend. I could do with some short heavy curtains for the bedroom windows, but not sure how to put them up, if a rod will fit. No matter the heating in that room it’s always freezing cold. One day I will get the loft insulation checked.
Probably will do a bit of shopping tomorrow as will need bread. Might see if Asda are still doing the £1 soup and coffee meal deal, as there is a Dunelm next door.

Yes I can confirm that it is cold out. Sun is out with a bit of blue sky and fast moving clouds.
Best to stay indoors and try not to find too much to do.
I have my cleaning lady coming at 10. She does 2 hours, and is very good.
My daughter and her lot are now on the airplane that will be taken them to Antigua for 2 weeks. I shall track the flight from time to time.

It just started to rain when I went out with Minnie for our morning stroll. It was not too bad and we did not get too wet.
My daughter is now away as I said yesterday, so I can make my own plans for the next couple of weeks.
I think I will go to Morrison later for lunch, and meet up with my neighbours as we do on a Friday.
Also at the same time take in my repeat prescription list to their chemist.

Reckon I will be staying in, apart from dog walks. I did go out yesterday, to Dunelm, spent just a couple of ££s in Asda, then had my £1 soup, roll and coffee deal. I did ask when it would stop but they said they don’t know. C’mon Asda, tell your staff if it is extending, or stopping by tomorrow.
Couldn’t be bothered to go out late last night, having stopped to watch Farewell Doc Martin, so let Holly out the garden again. I’m getting good at that, lol! Best take her out shortly.
Oh, just remembered I had thought of doing the library today, as have read most of the books. But I think the weather is going to be pretty awful.

Will pop to the retail park this morning, just a quick shop, home to cook a minted lamb swirl roast, then hopefully to take a video call from Italy, Holly’s friends from when we lived in the flat. They mourned us moving to Suffolk, but then they upped sticks and went to his home country! Lol. He used to fuss her through the railings and he and his gf became friends. He missed having a dog.

At one time we would have been out till 3.00am at least but those days are long gone.
We snuggled in bed & watched the bongs & fireworks on TV.
Tony & I may go a walk to our local car dealers this afternoon - it’s only half a mile away.
I’d like to see if there’s anything I like. I will only be looking - not buying!!
