Off to the hospital lunchtime for a chest x Ray, then if time, I hope to nip into Tescos quickly. Depends how long I am kept waiting.

Carol. My daughters farther in law broke his denture recently. It was taken to a local dental workshop where they make dentures. (donāt know if thatās what they are called) and they repaired them for Ā£45. I used them in the past and they repaired a crack in my upper denture for Ā£40.
So have you one in your area?
Today is the shortest day. So from now on, things will get brighter.
Done my morning stroll in the mud with Minnie.
Going soon to the coffee and chat group.
Been busy this morning, doing various jobs, some taking awhile, some taking minutes. Shall walk Holly again shortly, then must leave for the hospital. Are there picket lines today? 
ONE VERY HAPPIE CHAPPIE. I have just this last couple of minutes got my new driving license.
So passed the DVLA eye sight test and now donāt have to worry for the next 3 years.

Apart from my cleaning lady coming this morning, not a lot more going on.
Cloudy, not too cold out here, and a pleasant stroll with Minnie on our daily morning outing.
My son and grand kids came here last evening on a rare visit. Just to pick up their Xmas presents. I expect I shall see them again next year.
Hi @Emjay . There used to be a particularly, er, āinterestingā forum inhabitant (not on here, thank god) named Minnie, who used to love teddy bears. Donāt suppose your petās name is connected with her? Idle curiosity.

We got up about 9.15 this morning! Eeek, but who cares?
Been out with the dog and just finishing breakfast. Got a minted lamb swirl out to defrost and will do a roast for a late lunch. Also need to wrap up the Turkey I cooked yesterday for freezing.

Morning all.
I need to drop something off at my GP surgery but wondering if itās not worth it this side of Christmas. As they will be closed the next few days no action will be taken on it till next week, I should imagine (a two week diary of peak flow meter use). If I can get away with not having to go out, all the better.
Good Morning, Busy day today. Tesco delivery between 9 and 10 then Ray has to pick up turkeys for family between 10 and 11 while I make mince pies and sausage rolls and make chestnut stuffing to go with the turkeys. Younger daughter and son in law will be here late morning. elder daughter has dentist at 4pm so not sure if she will be coming before or after the visit. and son will visit when he finishes work,
he has two sheds and a gate to put up today with his daughters partner, so depends how well that goes, he is still playing catchup from last weeks snow.

Rain, rain, and more rain. Minnie was nagging me to go out. So I dressed up in waterproof, unlocked the gate, went onto the field and walked about 50 yards. Minnie stopped, looked at me and her look said, ā Sod you mate, I going homeā and she did.
Plans for today? I might give myself a haircut. I expect it will be lunch at Morrisons, and dinner at my daughter later this evening. I

I really need to get stuck into some house cleaning today.
Yesterday was to be my cleaning day but I had visitors from 11.30 onwards - the last one left at 5.00. There was my daughter, Tonyās sister, my granddaughter in law & her two children. If only theyād come at once but they just seemd to come one after the other which made it a long dayā¦
All stayed a good 2 hours. It was lovely to see them all but by the time Iād cooked dinner the day was practically overā¦
Now whereās my rubber gloves?

Done all my shopping now and ready for Christmas. HO HO HO. 
I need some last minute bits - salad etc. My nearest Aldi is half a mile away & I donāt fancy walking there in this rain. Iāve rung round the kids & managed to get Karen who says sheāll fetch them for me - no worry.
Oh the joys of not having a car - of having to rely on other people.
