Have a good day all.

Have a good day all.
Morning all.
Got the WM going, then will have the dehumidifier on later to help dry everything.
Another stay at home day, and hope to cook a roast lunchtime, if I can remember to get my pork steak into a marinade (powder).
Good morning all.
Also very cold, frosty, and foggy.
I have already been and sorted out my daughters cat. Not much traffic about. It takes me 10 minutes each way.
Also not going to do much today if I can help it.
See I told you that cheating France would win. There were more fouls there than the fouls that my mum kept a long time ago.
@Emjay Have to agree about the Fouls from France . I did think the Ref was helping France to win by not allowing the Fouls⊠I wonder if he was taking a bribe .
.
Good Morning Itâs a white world out there today.
Morning. Been seeing photos of snow from the town I left 3 years ago. Here, we have rain! Oh what a surprise!! . Not nice for the dog walks,
Good morning all.
Yes quite a few inches of the white stuff here.
Even Minnie donât want to go out in it.
I donât have to go do my daughters cat this morning so she told me. It has food and water, and she will be home in a few hours.
Me? All outingâs cancelled until further notice. I did want to go to Sainsburyâs, but I could go later if the snow clears.
Morning folks.
Got the cafe meet today. Be nice seeing everyone, as it was closed last week. Saw the proprietor who had gone to Athens for a little visit. She enjoyed it but there were no Christmas markets, as advertised. Not seen some ladies for a few weeks anyway, but if they are busy, then that is ok.
No plans for when I come home, apart from the usual, get Holly back out. No idea yet what to have for lunch/dinner, so I suppose I will need to have a rummage in the freezer. Maybe some cooked chicken.
Good morning all.
I did not do the usual stroll round the fields this morning as yesterday the snow was so deep that at times Minnie got buried in it, also it was not easy walking it.
So just went around the streets.
Pavements and road very slippery.
Not doing much today. No other reason to go out.
My daughter and grandson came yesterday afternoon, and we went to Sainsburys for our shopping.
Good morning all.
Brave and maybe foolish. I did the walk around the whole of the big field just now. Still very deep snow. That little dog Minnie loves it.
For a start the lock to my gate had iced up. Got a lighter and that did the trick.
The sun is out in the blue sky, with a northerly wind.
Off to the Wednesday coffee and chat group later. They are having a party, not free though. Cost ÂŁ3. Oh the expense.
Morning folks.
Back from an extremely cold walk with the dog. Off out again at 11. Lady up the top of the road has invited us both in for a cuppa and chat. Started off with me stopping by her wall while she was outside smoking, saying hello, as you do. Now I always stop to talk to her.
Would rather stay here and bury my nose in my current library book, but hey ho.
Good morning All.
Yes another cold day, but the sun is shining with blue sky.
Minnie decided that she did not want to go far, and she turned back home.
I needed the walk so I went out again for the usual stroll around the fields.
I got wet feet. I was wearing my old boots, and the snow got into them as I walked.
Came back and changed my socks for the ones that I got yesterday with a load of other stuff at the ageUK party.
Not many turned up.there were only 14 of us. I expect the weather was a deterrent. There was pizza, mulled wine, cakes, crackers.
When we left to go home, we were given a bag of stuff, that contained mens stuff, such as deodorants, soaps, body spray, hand towel, and a pair of socks that I mentioned.
Today. Got a bread making, and I expect my cleaning lady will be here soon.
very apprehensive today about having just got back from the DVLR eyesight test at Specsavers. Had to do 3x field tests and the snelling test which involved reading letters of different sizes. Not with this one, nornally there is lines of letters from large to small and a pass line if you can read below it. Today had to read one line at a time with left then right eye without glasses ,then same with glasses then again with both eyes with glasses. So got no idea if I passed or not but my thoughts at the moment is I didnât pass ,which means I can no longer drive. The Specsaver staff are not allowed to say either but the result go to the DVLA electronically. Then I have to wait for snail mail to get the result. with the postal strikes holding everything up doesnât help either.
As I said I donât think i passed but then again people with just one eye pass so I donât know but it is worrying and nothing i can do about it now
tis is all because of hereditary gleucoma from my mothers side
Jazz I donât know I was allowed to drive under section 88 of the road traffic act of 1988 while waiting for the test but not sure about afterwards.
If I have passed you will never have seen such a happy chappy
RS, does this mean you must give up driving until you have the result? Eeeek.
Surely he can drive until told otherwise??
If he is worried about driving, he could get someone to walk in front of the car holding a red flag.
Morning folks.
Hoping to get to the library today, and then collect my repeat meds (if done, not checked).
Good morning all.
Again blue sky and sunshine, but still cold.
At least Minnie decided that she would come around the fields with me this morning.
Not a lot to do today. But will be having lunch at Morrisons with my daughter.
Morning all.
Fitter is here installing Window shutters, he will be here for the day.
Poppy is going to the vets to have her 2nd jab.
Chinese takeaway tonight.
Good morning all.
Just back from a very cold walk as usual around the fields. I hate it at the present time, but Minnie seems to love it.
I have 3 pairs of suitable boots for this weather, but the newest 2 are a pain to get on. I actually get angry with them, and end up with the old pair that have very little tread on them.
Defiantly not going out again until this afternoon when it is going out time for Minnie.
