Today I go to hospital to have an angiogram. Exactly four weeks after my heart attack.

Holly and I just got caught at the end of our walk this morning. Argh!! I refused to take her out in it last night, so a wee in the garden and that was it. Saw a break in the rain just before 8 and went for it. Got all our wet things hanging up and dehumidifier going.

Yes raining here as well. But as I have a deal with the rain gods, whoever they are, it eased off for our morning stroll.
My cleaning lady comes today for 2 hours. So that might be the excitement of the day.

morning all
this morning felt a little better so went and cleared out all the roof gutters from oak leaves, removed 3 skyvac containers full so needed doing. Last night I get really annoyed with the constant sound of water overflowing from the roof gutter at the back of the house so while at it cleared all 8 of them around the house. coffee time now and next job when the ground dries up is out with the leaf blower but far to wet at the moment.

Seems like our rain will fizzle out later, but I want to get to the library and town centre this morning. I want to cook a pork loin joint in the slow cooker by tomorrow and need one or two ingredients for the liquid marinade (balsamic vinegar, for one). We don’t have many food shops, but I’m hopeful one or two specialist ones might stock it.

I expect that my daughter and I will as usual go to Morrisons for lunch, and this evening I shall be going to her for dinner. (Free food).

Went into Gorleston this morning to PetsAtHome to get kitty more food, she can eat for England.
This afternoon we have been moving all the furniture around in the Lounge, because Poppy is ruing our Sofa’s, she has scratch one of the Arms of the Sofa’s, and these are Chesterfield Sofas, which we only bought a few months ago and they cost us £2,000, but we can’t seem to stop her from jumping up.

Went to town this morning. Unfortunately all the 5p seeds in Wilko had gone, leaving just some herbs. I did get three bags of onion sets for half price, ie £1.25. After a few more shops and after putting shopping in the car, I headed off to the library. Found the free hot drink section (help yourself) so sipped a coffee while I chose more books. I only had 40m left on the car parking so couldn’t sit down with the drink to enjoy it. Maybe next time.
My Amazon delivery arrived a short while ago so Holly now has her flea treatment done.
Mixed up a guesswork marinade for the pork loin joint, now sitting in the slow cooker bag in the fridge, and in the morning it will go straight into the pot. (Will keep basting during the day.) had to buy a bottle of balsamic vinegar which Tescos was doing cheaper with the Clubcard. Had a mini bottle of rose indoors, did a splash, added oil, mustard, soy sauce and brown sugar. I’m winging it, lol

My daughter has gone to the IOW for a few days, but my grandson stayed, so I expect a visit from him.
Just done one laundry wash and now in the dryer.

I have nothing planned for today. It’s our son Ady’s birthday & as I can’t drive over to them they are coming to us.
Poor Ady has been plagued by a pulled muscle in his neck & shoulder so I’ve bought him a tens machine & an orthopedic pillow.

Not going out, nothing to do, so just sit around for the day.
There will be no buses in Corton as from this Monday 21st November till 24th December, the Villagers are up in Arms about it, because the only way you can get to the shops, is picking up the bus from Tesco, well I won’t be able to walk all that way, I can get my Hubby to drop me off at Tesco and pick me up again, but there are loads of elderly people who won’t be able to get there to do their shopping etc, and people need to go to work.

I would be up in arms too, Susie, with this crucial run up time to Christmas. Are the buses not being diverted again, or does the work really mess things up this time? Maybe you could start having driving lessons, so you can take yourself out in future? This is why I told yr hubby I could never live in Corton. Play with Poppy. 
Not sure what I will get up to today. Can’t do anything on the allotment, so wet and cold out. Not looking forward to dog walks.

I just beat the Sunday football crowd with my morning stroll with Minnie.
I was up a bit late this morning, but who’s checking up on me.
I was so cold last evening, so I went to bed early.
I took my kindle, and also listened to the radio. Soon got warmed up.
Carol. You mentioned ‘tens’ device. I have a ‘Paingone’ plus. I have others, but this one has a battery so you don’t have to keep pressing the button on the top. Works for me most of the time.

A nice sunny day here. Tony & I plan a walk round our local pond.
I need to find an electrician as our shower’s on the blink again. it’s only 6 months old. I think it’s the pully switch!
I won’t bother anybody on a Sunday though. Thank goodness I have the plastic plasterers bath from when we had a new bathroom. I shall fill it up in the kitchen & have a bath in that!
