Chit Chat Thread (Part 2)

Good day all
Decided to go into town , stood waiting for the bus but the info was an hours wait so came home . Calling in at the Hairdresses to make an appointment , Ive cut my Hair for years now , but decided I wanted a wave in it …
Before I can have it done I have to have a Consultation ! I thought you only get them with a Doctor …

So Im now ordering online what I was going in to town for .Quick and Easy .

Have a wonderful day …

I’ve gone on to the FB local allotment page, wanted to find an Admin about a post I am waiting to have approved, and who do I frickin’ see? The bloke who goes next door to his gf, the neighbour from hell!!! I just hope he hasn’t got a plot nearby too. Argh!!! :rage::rage::rage:

I hope not Jazzi, but if he does then you know where to avoid him , at home or at the allotment .
I doubt he will be noisy there , others wont put up with it …

Yes Eliza, but there are some aspects of my life where I would just like to not have him (or her) in it! The fact he is also a member of the FB group and will see what I have posted. My first and last one, for instance, thanking them for adding me, and that I have just taken on a new plot. I didn’t want the neighbours to know, but now they will, if and when he reads it. Remember I refused to accept his friend request.

Morning all.

Good luck at the Allotments today Janet, lets hope your neighbour isn’t there.

Not going out today.

Have a good day all.

Good morning all.
@Jazzi ,I hope everything goes well at the allotment and you can make it your happy place .

I have to collect my repeat prescription today ,thats about all on my to do list .

Have a wonderful day

Morning all.

Thanks ladies. I hope to start on some strimming this morning. And I need to find a camping chair, or similar, so I can sit down and rest. If I take the car, it will be in the on site car parking area, so I could use that for now. Keep a flask of coffee in there, maybe.

I started a new library book yesterday, and am racing through it. About a young Vietnamese woman smuggled into Britain with her sister, but sold on to a nasty farmer who keeps her captive. She falls pregnant and has to fight for the baby’s well being. Very well written, and by a bloke.

Enjoy your day.

Good morning all.
Oh dear Janet, you don’t seem to be able to get away from him and trouble. I am following this drama with interest.
Waiting with eager anticipation for the next episode. 🫢
It is quite nice out at the moment, but still had to wash Minnie’s feet when we got back in.
I don’t have any plans yet for today. I don’t yet know if my daughter and I will be going to Morrison for lunch. Waiting for a message of phone call from her.
Now going to do my knee exercises.

Good morning all.

I’ve got to go to hospital this morning for blood tests prior to my angiogram next week.

Ady was going to take me but Paula had a seizure this morning so he must stay with her.
My daughter Karen in on holiday so she can’t take me - daughter Sue can’t drive so I have no choice but to get a taxi. I am so tempted to get the car out but better not!

It’s a good half hours journey there, then I will ring for another taxi to get back home.

Nothing else planned for the day. I had a problem with the car dealer trying to charge me for something unnecessary when it went for a service yesterday & it’s been playing on my mind. However as stress can lead to another heart attack I’m trying my best not to get het up about it.

Have a good day all…

Good luck @carol , Ive had 2 angiograms the 1st was Through the Groin , didnt feel a thing , the 2nd was through the wrist , unfortunatly there was a lot of resistance , and I felt it , gritted my teeth till finally I had to speak out . They gave me another shot of sedation in the other wrist but that didnt work , if i have to have it again I shall insist on it going through the groin …

Its Sods law you have to get a Taxi , I had to on one occasion when Hubby was not well enough to take me …The beauty of it though is you dont have to struggle to get a Parking space .

I have an appointment in a couple of weeks and have to be on the Ward at 8am , Son is dropping me off before heading to work and then I shall get the Bus back later in the day …
Ive done it this way before , so know where to get the Bus …right outside the Hospital …No stress involved

Take care Carol and try not to stress ,

Carol, re you being tempted to drive. Please don’t.

@Eliza I’ve been discussing this on my heart & stent group on facebook & some say the same as you but others prefer the wrist. Main advantage of wrist is you don’t have to lie flat for seven hours after it’s been inserted as you do with the groin.

How did you cope with lying flat all that time?

Good morning all.
Not a lot happening here at the moment. Just the usual groundhog Saturday.
Laundry being done in the machines, done our walk around the fields,
Oh a bit of excitement. I did a blood test. 6.7 and that ain’t bad, considering all the chocolate rolls I have been consuming.

Good morning all,

@carol yes I remember the lying flat , in a ward with others after , I remember going in at the evening there was a group of us in a ward of 4 , short stay all having the same thing done . I dont remember it being 7hrs more like 3, I know I was allowed home at 10.30pm.Which felt abit un-nerving at the time . Hubby came in and took me home … That was my first , and about 10 yr ago

My 2nd was about 3/4yr ago through the wrist ,after I was kept in for about 2 hours ,sitting in a chair when my time was up ,I walked out to meet hubby in the car park ,Silly me , he was delayed and i walked round with my day bag waiting and wondering What If I collasped . The Nursing staff do inform you to take it easy , .

Regarding the resistance i experienced in my viens through the wrist , It came and went for about a year or 18 months after , only for a few seconds at a time and not constant .I no longer feel it… It was written in my notes by the Consultant who performed the procedure…

Take a good book into read Carol …

Have a wonderful day

Sue is nothing but generous ,she has managed to pass on her cold and now my nose keeps running and constant sneezing. Thanks a bunch Sue

@realspeed We women are caring sharing human beings .It just shows how much Sue loves you to share her Cold with you .
Hope you both feel a whole lot better soon .

Good morning all .

My new neighbours moved in last week , They had several vistors , one which parked in front of our drive ,blocking the way of getting the car out .
So I had to go round and ask them to move it , not a good start .

I bought a couple of photo albums yesterday, my daughter told me to put the photos in Albums. So theres a task Ive to do …

Also did a food shop in store , Ive had a few problems with my online food shop , with things Ive paid for and are not in my delivery . I dont like to keep calling them saying this that and the others not there.
It feels like shop lifting by the shop.

Have a wonderful day .

.

Morning all.

Hoping to pop round to sis mid morning, to see her D and the new baby. The 3yo is autistic so he won’t be interested in a cuddle.. Time permitting I might shoot up the road to Tescos.

I continued my subscription to Borrow My Doggy a week or so ago, thinking we were lucky with a potential couple. She replied to my email this morning, saying sorry she’s been ill, (we were hoping to meet today) but also they have put a deposit down on a new pup. Gave out reasons (excuses) why they can’t borrow at the moment…so that leaves me and Holly back to square one. I might email the company to ask if my subscription can be cancelled and I get a refund, if I explain the only reason I continued.

One lady showed an interest but when I read some profiles and look at their photos, my heart sinks.

Okay, onwards and upwards. Have a nice day. Must do dog walk now. We didn’t go out for the late one, it was too cold, so I let her out the garden. As also a few hours later in the night.

Feeling really rotten with this cold I got off Sue, head spinnng-sneezing and coughing let alone out of breath (not covid related). Hope it goes before I get my driving licence DVLA eye test.

Good afternoon everybody.

Daughter Sue has just left us after delivering some shopping from Aldi & staying for a coffee & a chat.

I’m going to cook a chicken dinner this afternoon & maybe go for a short walk round the park with Tony.

Enjoy the rest of your day…
