It’s very dull & overcast here so the load of towels I washed last night will have to go in the dryer.

I’m feeling much the same as usual. Bit weak & chesty from the pneumonia. Just going to potter about today & keep warm.
Sue is coming later with some shopping I managed to forget on my Tesco click & collect order. I will be pleased when I can do my own shopping again but just don’t have the energy right now.
Janet - a visit to the charity shop could sort your ‘old gardening clothes’ out.
Hoping so, Susie. Lots of potential there. And of course somewhere to retreat to when neighbours are out in their garden every sunny day.
Not yet moved from my warm and comfy home as it is still raining out. Will see shortly what I feel like doing. Holly is back up on the bed. She knows the right place to be.

It’s dull & overcast here. If only there had been a bit of sunshine I would have liked a bit of time outdoors. Cant risk this damp air getting in my lungs though.
Yesterday I cleaned my shoe cupboard & bag cupboard out & cleaned the bathroom washbasin.
I am slowly getting into doing a little housework.
This afternoon I am going to get the photo albums out & go through them with Tony. I don’t know how much he will be able to remember. I’ve also set him a new jigsaw puzzle to do.
He’s more or less accepted the fact that we’ll be moving house next year and this morning we lay in bed with a cup of coffee & discussed where we’d like to move to. It won’t be very far - hopefully in the same village…

It was raining first thing this morning, but I commanded the rain gods to hop it, and they did.
So there was a bit of sunshine when we went out on our stroll.
I shall be going to the indoor short mat bowling club this morning.
I am now able to use my exercise bike, but I have to remind myself not to over do it. I am managing to get more bend in the replacement knee, but it is still a bit painful at times.

I met a Mrs Tesell Charactor yesterday (you know the one from DR Martin,) before i could buy Nytol , she wanted to know what meds i was on and what my health condition was ,
I walked out , why would I discuss my meds and health with a shop full of people listening in and to a complete stranger …,
Just had a parcel collection , another one wanting to know what was in it , he guessed right . I looked online to make sure it was not under restrictions …
I think sometimes people who work for others sometimes think they own the business …
Im not sure what I shall do today, its bin day , so better get that out …
Really have to think now about going to town , the Bus service is no longer working to normal , Buses missing throughout the day … The excuse is they dont have enough Drivers … Job anyone ?

And it’s flipping raining again. I want to get to the allotment and cover some ground. Should get my strimmer today, and that will be fun, assembling it.
Left writing group reasonably on time last night (9.05) and when I got home drove round and round the roads, up and down mine three times I think, trying to find parking, and then spotted room further down my road, past the junction. I had already tried getting in that, but it looked like somebody else had driven off, as it was easier this time. Now it’s all half empty.

I went yesterday to the bowls club. After 3 games I was shattered. But I am getting better at the game.
I am off to the coffee (tea for me) and chat club later, It is 10-1, and I have an blood test at 1.35 that is not too far from the venue.
Managed a short while on the allotment, laying down the two rolls of weed fabric I had, but need more. Strimmer is on its way and once charged and put together I will go over and tackle everything. Had a look round, where possible, but really need to get some wellies or firm boots to wear. Ground is very uneven, where it needs digging.
My new hedge trimmer might be useful.
Checked the water butt but that is no good so looks like a watering can job when needed.
Blimey! Dad next door seems to be in a foul mood! He only said hello when we both got home a short while ago,(didn’t want to stop to chat) and he has slammed his front door about 4 times since!! I’m keeping out of his way.
I had a terrible nights sleep - didn’t nod off till 4.00am so I decided to stay in bed all morning.
Up now & had a bite of lunch. Planning to walk over the park with Tony to my daughters house. It’s he hubby Nicks birthday & I’ve got him some of his favourite red wine.
I’ve got the Ford mechanic calling to take my car for a full service & MOT this morning. Hopefully he will deliver it back this evening without having caused me too much expense!!!
Later Ady & Paula are picking us up & taking us to lunch at the Toby Carvery.
It’s three weeks today since my heart attack & this will be my first outing. Really looking forward to it.

I am up late but hope to get out to town centre this morning. I assembled the strimmer and charged both batteries yesterday, and today want to find some good footwear, even if I have to look at the men’s. We only have shoe zone here. Then a look at the gardening section in Wilko. Then all being well, see if I can manage a while strimming sections of the plot.
Spent most of yesterday afternoon Googling shed bases.

I have my cleaning lady coming at 10 for 2 hours. She does a good job.
So I don’t have anything else planed, except I am going to my daughter for dinner this evening, instead of tomorrow.
