Chit Chat Thread (Part 2)

Good morning everybody.

Paula is at work in her new job so I’m going with Ady to Josh’s school for the harvest festival.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the inside of the school. It’s a new build & has everything a special needs child could want. Josh is very happy there.

We couldn’t get a ticket for Tony to come too so daughter Karen is coming up to keep him company - maybe they’ll go a walk round the park.

 @realspeed

Have a good day all…

Good morning all.
It was very Misty earlier, but it cleared and then came back again. But now sunny but cold.
I had another bad night, (knee playing up.) so not going anywhere today.
I might continue watching ‘Watcher’ on Netflix. Later.

Morning all,

Washing on. Then when back from cafe have lots of hoovering to do, then see what I can clean with my carpet shampooer.

Good morning everybody.

I enjoyed Josh’s harvest festival yesterday even though Josh himself only stood at the back waving a cardboard carrot.
The rest of his class were singing but he didn’t want to!

When we went in his classroom afterwards to collect his coat & bag a little boy ran over to me & threw his arms round me - we had a nice cuddle. Then two little girls with Downs Syndrome came for a cuddle. These children really touched my heart…

Today Tony & I are going to get some jobs done in the garden and a bit of housework.

We’re out with Ady & Paula & family for a meal tonight. Ady’s neck & shoulder problem is almost better thank goodness.

Have a good day all…

Good morning all, its dull and very windy outside.
Off into Gorleston this morning, need to buy loads of things.
I waited indoors all day yesturday for a GP phone call, eventually he rung me at 5.30pm, what a waste of a day.
Have a nice day all.

Morning all.

You said that would happen, Susie! That is so bad of them.

Good morning all.
Windy and cold also here.
I have to go pick up the blood test stuff from my surgery this morning. I have already booked the blood test at the centre, and it is in 3 weeks time.
Then off to the coffee and chat group, and appointment at the dentist for 2pm.
Later this afternoon off to the hospital for more pain with the physio at 0530pm.
At last I can peddle on my exercise bike, it is still a bit painful, doing it, pleased with that though. ( No pain, no gain) yea right.
Hey Ho, it’s nice to be busy.

Good morning everybody.

I’m meeting my friend Chris this morning for a walk round Kings Mill reservoir.
Afterwards we may go into the nearby town of Mansfield for lunch & a browse round the shops.

Ady is almost recovered from his painful neck/shoulder & will be taking Tony out for the day.

Have a good day all…

You seem to be doing everything right with the knee, Emjay. Good on you.

Glad Adie is getting better.

I have seem to have developed shooting pains in my left leg and knee, I am wearing a knee support at the moment, and it’s painful.

Sorry to hear that. Any idea what’s caused it? Get well soon.

No it’s probably nerve damage from my Diabetes or Arthritis.

Morning all.

Had a bad night, knee was hurting, couldn’t get comfortable and was coughing a lot.

Out at 8am to do our weekly shopping at Aldi’s and that’s it for the day.

Have a good day all.

Good morning everybody.

I hope your pain gets better soon Susie.

I had a bad nights sleep so no plans for today. Just going to take it easy.

Have a good day all…

Morning all.

Hope everyone gets better soon, all those feeling poorly.

Morning peeps just thought I’d pop in and say hello and ditto, get well soon to all those in pain…

Have a pleasant day everyone

Good morning all.
Raining. But it stopped long enough for Minnie and I to have our morning stroll, walk, around the field.
I had a fairly good night sleep, with the help of a Nytol and some night rescue drops.
Of course there are the after affects of the physio that I had yesterday afternoon.
I have my cleaning lady coming this morning, I was going to say, “I had better tidy up a bit”. Not likely, I am paying her £15 an hour to do that.
To all fellow sufferers on here. I hope that your suffering gets better soon. Arrrrrg. :weary:

Good morning all.
Weather is not too bad at the moment.
Done the first walk of the day with Minnie.
I shall not be cooking today, as lunch with my daughter at Morrison, and dinner at her place this evening.
At the bottom of my garden, but on the other side of the fence, there is a sweet chestnut tree. For the first time it has produced a large quantity of nuts. Shall I save them until Christmas? I shall try and roast a few.

Morning all.

Do they keep, Emjay? I’m not sure.

Very busy so no time to waste on the www.

Yes of course they keep. They traditionally are for Christmas, or whenever.
