Yes I agree with you Emjay, sometimes its better just not taking any painkillers, you can take too many of them and your body gets used to it and doesn’t work any more.

I noticed yesterday when i went a walk , the autumn colours of the Trees , I didn’t have my Camera so missed taking a photo .
I have my daughter staying later this month , so I am freshening the bedding with a wash .Pillows as well .
last time i saw her was a year ago when we spread the Ashes ,so looking forward to this visit .
I plan to go to the shops today .

Well I have some plans for today.
I am going to Sainsbury’s for a shop today as I have a busy few day ahead. Tomorrow is the start of the ‘short mat indoors bowls’. Wednesday is the AGE UK coffee morning. Although I only have tea. Thursday is when my cleaning lady comes. That leaves Friday open for suggestions.
Besides playing ball with the dog I have been reading. Still a few more pages left of the book. Off to finish it.

I’m pleased to be back from my weekend in Skegness.
I got us there & back no problem though the driving on Friday wasn’t so pleasant owing to the rain.
Sat & Sun we had two glorious sunny days - we enjoyed the sea air sitting on the pier, walked the length of the main street going in all the shops but I didn’t buy much. There was an incentive - Wetherspoons was at the end! lol
We caught the local bus & went to Ingoldmells market & went to the theatre Saturday night to see ‘Oh what a night’
We discovered a very friendly working mans club and spent one evening there - free entertainment which was good.
All in all it was a success though Tony was uncomfortable being away from home & a bit disorientated but he enjoyed the ice creams & pampering I gave him. I am trying to make the best of time while I can because soon I don’t think he will be well enough to go anywhere…
I think the break did me good & it’s nice to be back.

Thanks Jazzi. Yes it was 86 miles to Skegness but all easy roads. 
I’m leaving Tony in bed this morning while I attend a carer’s meeting.
Hopefully I will be back for lunchtime & take him to a nearby pub/restaurant this afternoon to book my family birthday meal for Christmas Eve…

It’s not very nice weather for walking so today I’m meeting Chris at Matlock Garden Centre. We’ll have a browse round & end up in the restaurant for a lovely carvery lunch.
Ady will be taking Tony on a scenic tour stopping at a couple of pubs on the way.

I had to get the stepladder out to take down one of my security cameras on the front as it needs charging.
I had my neighbour rushing over and told me off as he thinks that I should not be climbing ladders because of my iffy knee. It’s not so iffy. If I can do it, then it’s ok. Which I did.
Off to the coffee (tea for me) Wednesday meet shortly.

I’m meeting my friend Jean for lunch today.
There’s nobody to be with Tony so I’m taking him with me. He’s not too happy about this but he’ll have to put up with it. lol
We may call at Tesco on the way back to do the weekly shop. I get as I hate shopping lately & am considering online shopping.
Later I’ve got a woman coming to fetch my rowing machine. I can no longer use it due to my slipped disc so I advertised it for sale on Face-book market place. She knocked me down in price but I’m not bothered - I just want to see it gone.

My cleaning lady is not coming today as she has been in contact with a covid carrier.
