Good morning all.
I also have my booster booked for this afternoon.
I had a very painful session with the physio yesterday. But on their exercise bike I managed to do complete revolutions with the pedals. A bit painful, but I beat the pain as I was so glad that I could do it.
I suffered for it last night, as it took ages and 2 Nytol before I got to sleep.

@Emjay hope you get some benefits from having a knee replacement soon .Nytol always works for me , but on occasions when ive taken a full one I get ILS. and that keeps me awake

Morning folks.

I plan on having an easy day today. Had thought of going back to bed after my early morning cuppa but can hear a rhythmic banging/clanging down the road. I wasn’t aware of any more building work, other than the small flats nearing completion. Must they start so early??

Good morning all.

I’m taking Tony to Skegness for the weekend today - he didn’t want to come but sometimes I have to insist. I just long for some sea air. it’s been 3 years since we’ve been to the coast!

Ady helped us pack the mobility scooter into our small boot (Fiesta) Just hope we can get it out again & put it together!!

I think the weather isn’t going to be very good so we’ll just take it as it comes.

Tomorrow night we’re going to the Embassy theatre to see ‘Oh what a night’ Looking forward to that - love Frankie Valli.

I’ll be missing from here until Monday as I only have my mobile phone & find it hard accessing the forum on that.

Good morning all.
Cold? Yes and I put my heating on for an hour just to warm up the house. Dam the expense.
Just back from the morning stroll around the field. I hardly used my walking stick.
Plans for today. Well not my plans more like my daughter’s. Lunch at Morrison, then dinner at her house.
In between I may pop up to the Age UK to take some books there.

it was a cold wet night , I was star gazing at 3am,when Ellie needed the toilet

Ive set my heating to come on at 19c, that is a cut to what it use to be in winter at 23c

Good morning all
My first cup of Tea spilt all over my Mattress and Pillows,So cross with myself .
It was a wet and windy night but no damage done .

Ooh Eliza, what are you like?

I couldn’t bear the thought of getting dressed to take Holly out in that rain, and getting soaked, so I put her coat on and let her into the garden. She did ask to go out again not long after but went through the night ok. Spose I’d best take her out soon.

Yesterday I spent time clearing the top of my sideboard, and the kitchen work top. I have such limited space in the kitchen (rather like in the flat), I’d kill for a full size room. So now it looks nice and empty (ish), so if I decide to go for an air fryer (tempted) I might have the space for it. But it’s a big if. What size and make would I get, for a start.

No specific plans for today.

God morning all.
I am giving up on Nytol and pain killers before I go to bed. They just don’t work for me.
Although I did get a few hours sleep and woke up at 0800.
So it was a rush. I had to get Minnie out before the Saturday footballers arrive. I then had breakfast, and put the laundry in the machine.
Nothing else planed, so just let it happen.

No. I don’t drink any alcohol anymore.
Especially spirits as my stomach don’t like it.
Maybe I should try the hot milk or something like Horlicks. Now that’s an idea Eliza.

Good morning all.
Yes I did have a better night. Why? Because I did not take any pills. I went to bed at 10pm, woke up to go to toilet about 5, then woke up at 0745.
All morning chores have been done, my grandson may come and help me pull the Lilly from the pond so that I can trim it down.
Did I mention that my cleaning lady brought me 6 big fish from her pond. One she claims is 17 years old.
