I didn’t get to the library yesterday so will go today.
Good morning everyone, cloudy at the moment but the sun is trying to break through, so looks like being an OK sort of day…
I’ll be in the kitchen most of the morning baking bread and doing pie and mash for lunch, and later on I’ll be trying to track down an electrical fault in the garage so lots to do…

I’m meeting my friend Chris today in the Mill town of Belper.
We’ll have a short steady walk from the car park to the river gardens & back - approx 1.5 miles. Then browse the shops & have a pub lunch.
I’ve completely gotten over my disappointment with her over the Thursford trip. Let her go with her sister - I don’t care.
I’m going with Paula but I won’t tell Chris. She will be surprised when she sees me getting on the coach!!
My first instinct was to fall out with her but I’m glad I didn’t. Friends are hard to come by.
Ady is taking Tony out somewhere nice - possibly the Peak District.

Just done my morning walk with Minnie. It was a bit easier today.
I shall be going to the Wednesday coffee (tea for me) and chat group shortly. 10-1. The table that I sit at is a laugh. Funny people like me. It’s a Age UK.
The daughter’s FIL is out of danger. It seems that the acid in the stomach caused the bleeding, and has stopped now. I except they will Chuck him out soon.
Morning everyone, another fine day forecast and Rosemary has been threatening to scarify the lawn on the next dry day so I guess she’ll be doing that later, which means that I’ll be on clearing up after her duties and cooking a curry for lunch duty, looks like we’ll be busy …👷♂️👨🍳

Another bad night for me. I just can’t seem to find a comfortable spot for the leg.
My surgery sent me a text, telling that they are doing the flue jabs today. I shall have to go to the afternoon session as I have my cleaner coming this morning.

Covid booster just before 1. Did text sis asking if she was free for a visit afterwards but she replied she’d let me know, pffffft! Fine.

Well that’s it. Weather has spoilt my plans. Had decided to invite myself to Norwich with little sis, but would have to take the dog. However, now I’ve read the forecast for the day (rain) I have phoned sis and pulled out. She was asleep still and will decide later. I reckon she won’t go.
I could walk about in the rain but the dog would need ground to sit and lie on. I don’t want her feeling wet and uncomfortable just for the sake of it. I might pop out somewhere myself.

Happy Birthday to Holly , it doesn’t seem 5 yrs, its gone by quick ,
My trip to the Theatre to see the ghost story was not in the least bit scary , I wore a mask on the bus and in the Theatre ,I shall feel more relaxed after next week when I go for my Booster .

Yes it was raining earlier, but stopped now. I am just back from my morning walk with Minnie. I am trying to get the walking mileage up. I am doing about 2 miles a day, which ain’t too bad.
Daughter and I are going for lunch at Morrison so she said.
