Barry, my nose hasn’t stopped dribbling for months! Talking to older sis recently she said she has been the same since one of the last vaccinations. (Not that the Covid booster has stopped either her or my BiL catching Covid whilst on their cruise! Both are very poorly.)
A few minutes. Prep work took the longest. Discussing health, meds, waiting for the doctor to return to the room, meeting the team, getting comfy on the bed, sitting up again to sign the form, getting the injection, and waiting a minute or two, before starting. Then wait for the antibiotic cream. I would say 25-30 minutes start to finish, tops.
Getting confused with my days…didn’t realise it is Sunday today. (Checking the date on the top of my iPad.)
Going to adhere to the advice on the hospital paperwork, and rest up today. Shall do nothing more taxing than dog walks, cooking my main meal (when I can decide what), and sitting about reading my library book. Or going back to bed to read. Thankfully the bleeding seems to have stopped now, it is stinging a bit and feels tight, but I think I can stop the painkillers.
Collected my Amazon parcel too yesterday, early evening. The replacement bulb for the bathroom light, so might give that a go, replacing it.
With everywhere shut down tomorrow I had popped into Tesco on the way home from the hospital and made sure I was stocked up on stuff (bread, milk, veg). Tried cutting down on what I bought but it was still a big enough bill.
Morning all, its miserable outside.
Not going out, as my cold is getting to me.
Glad its all over Janet, make sure Holly doesn’t thump you in the nose like before.
We went to Tesco yesturday and it was mad in there, every till and also the self tills had queues a mile long.
Have a nice day all.
Jazzi, if you can manage without the bathroom light for another day, I wouldn’t change the bulb till tomorrow, unless you don’t need to stand on anything to reach it.
I am always extra cautious when I have had any hospital treatment and I am just thinking that you need to avoid banging your nose.
Sods law says that your nose will be the only injury you get if you have a fall!
Yes Twink, I know you are right. I may just do that, wait till tomorrow. I’ve been without it for over a day now. I have a short bit of hall which goes to the back door and there is a light there, so I can use that.
Good morning all.
I woke up quite late. 0800. So it was a bit of a rush with ablutions and breakfast. Then having to take Minnie out before the football crowd appear.
Yesterday I peeled 30 apples it 2 sessions, cooked, mashed, and bagged. Then in the freezer.
Now cooking drumsticks that will be for Minnie’s dinner. Not all in one dinner though.
Time to relax now and do my own things. Also the exercises for my knee.
Oops. I never was one to heed my own advice. Replaced the bathroom light bulb. And after rummaging about in the freezer for something to defrost, I will now rest for the remainder of the day. Realised though I have a ready meal in the fridge so might cook that for lunch.
Good afternoon everybody.
Tony & I went to the walk in centre this morning for our covid jabs.
The queue was ridiculous - It spread all down one street & round the corner & half way up the next street.
We decided not to bother so now I will make an online boking somewhere…
Going to have a lazy afternoon watching DVD’s & eating chocolate.
Today im watching the Funeral of The Queen ,family are coming over to watch with me ,then after we shall go a walk .
Im preparing a salad to take with us or eat at home …
Hope @Jazzi is feeling okay this morning .and everyone else who are ill are on the mend .
