Hi where are you from

Evening folks, back now from our few days in Dorset, collected the hound from my daughterā€™s care, unpacked and laundry going full pelt. Just going to have tea now and then settle down with Britbox for an hour.

Itā€™s nice to go away but itā€™s oh so nice to come homeā€¦

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone

Living on the east coast. Gets quite chilly!!

Good morning all

I woke at 2am ,its 18c in the Hall which feels cold , I decided to get up and make a start on Dinner , So I have Braised Lamb Chops cooking on a bed of Potatos and gravy and topped with a chopped onion , Something to look forward to .

I was going on a trip to the Dales , but I think it will be the Vale instead .

Have a wonderful day ā€¦

Good morning all, its raining.

Off out into town this morning, hopefully I wonā€™t get too wet.

Have a nice day all.

Morning all, I had a text inviting me to book my Covid booster, all booked for next Friday, flu jab booked in for October.

Morning all.

I have four jabs booked in the coming weeks. Covid booster, shingles, pneumonia and then the flu.

Minor surgery day for me (fingers crossed and all being well.) Time to get rid of this thing growing out of my right nostril. I canā€™t wait. Dropping the dog off with the carer. I have booked for 5 hours, but can always extend it. Appt is 11.45, and I shall take my book with me, and get a cuppa somewhere, sit and recover for a bit.

Good luck with the procedure Jan, hope it all goes well for youā€¦

Morning all, sunny here but quite a chill in the air with just 7Ā°c showing on the thermometer, brrrā€¦ starting to feel a little like autumn methinksā€¦

Just walked the hound and having a brew now before nipping over to see Mum and maybe mow the grass if itā€™s grown, with the rain that weā€™ve had.

Enjoy the day everyone

Good morning everybody.

Iā€™ve got a handyman coming today to fit me some door locks. In spite of me ringing & texting, he hasnā€™t answered so it looks like Iā€™ll be hanging round all day waiting for him - if he comes at all!!! Grrrrrr

Janet, good luck at the hospital.

Have a good day allā€¦

Good morning all.
Oh yes it is also a bit chilly in this part of the world.
I am just back from the morning stroll with Minnie.
I am still suffering with disturbed nights first thing with the knee, but it is getting better.
I donā€™t have anything planned, but I think my daughter has. She was saying something about going to Debden and ā€˜Pets at homeā€™ for a new cat basket.

All done. Felt sick and shaky straight afterwards, but spent about an hour in the cafe with a cuppa, cheese scone and pain killers. Continued my recovery with a shop in Tescos on way home. Lol.

Having another cuppa and will get Holly in about half hour.

I expect pain will kick in soon. Had the diathermy and then dissolvable stitches, they applied an antibiotic cream and I have a tube to apply it once a day for a week.

So glad to see the back of the thing!!

Yay!

Good news for you Jazzi, take it easy now dont over do it .

Thanks. Collecting pie n mash from a neighbour later, so once Holly is home and fed, I shall have a good rest.
