Good morning all.
Every day seems to be better so my daughter says. Yesterday afternoon I even went on the crutches part of the way when my daughter took Minnie around the field. There is a wall that I sat on whilst they wandered off.
I do miss the daily Minnie walks. Soon very soon.
Funny bit.
I had a shower this morning, and my daughter said that the plaster dressing needed changing. As I took it off, it had somehow absorbed a litre or two of water. It went everywhere. Over my chair, soaked the bottom of my shorts. We put another one on, but was told on my last visit, that all dressing can be removed tomorrow, Sunday, and leg exposed to the elements.
Can just picture that Emjay. Bit late, I suppose, to have suggested a towel nearby, or so it in the shower.

I think today is going to be a cleaning day - fridge, cupboards, oven - ugh!!!
Might find time for a short walk round the pond when the work is done.

I was allowed t remove the dressing from the knee this morning. There are still 5 of those mini type plaster strips in one spot that I shall leave until they drop off or whatever they do.
I have to remind myself that not to be so confident when I hobble around without a crutch.
I had a longer walk yesterday with the crutches, and went and visited my neighbour that has also not been to well with chest problems.
My daughter has just buzzed off with her husband for a couple of hours to the boot sale.

Morning folks.
I have to nip to my surgery this morning, drop off a sample. Then on to the library to return a book I completely read over the weekend. It has 49 reserves on it.
Then home via the pharmacy, see if my Spatone iron infused sachets are in. I can now start taking them (after doing the sample.)
After that, well, the day is my own.
Morning all, cloudy at the moment.

I know! I must start packing, lol. Mind, I wonāt be there much, so not so much to take. Especially food. I always overthink and overpack that.
After my cafe meet tomorrow I will start thinking about the weekend. I have cards to post as well.
The annoying part about this weekend is I wonāt have any chances to have a lie in! Not once.

Iām off to my aqua fit class this morning & late afternoon should be my Hot Air Balloon flight.
I think it will be cancelled because of weather conditions. Maybe just as well really as I donāt know how I could stand in the basket for any length of time. Not with my aching back & sciatica!!
Ah well - maybe they will give me a refund - hope so!!

Good morning all.
I am going to give myself a haircut, as I have been ordered to do so by my daughter.
I went with my daughter and Minnie, for a walk with the crutches on the field yesterday morning. I managed to get to the sandpit and return with no difficulty. It was 419 yards there and back. (Google Earth with measure). Before the operation, I could do the same distance, but the return was painful.
I shall be doing it again shortly, and maybe a bit further.

A Good morning all
We had a really cracking Thunderstorm last night , it started at 2am and went on for about 30min before it moved on .Had a lot of rain with it too .
Ellie had her usual Panic attack which went on for 2 hrs before her breathing went back to normal ,Ive got a bit of tidying up to do after she went from room to room scratching up rugs and knocking the CD tower down in her panic state .
The sun is shining now , I think this is whats called an Indian Summer .

Thanks Susie. I also have a card for you. Would you prefer me to hand it to you on Sunday, albeit a day late? At least we know you will get it. But yes, there might well be a strike towards the end of the week.
Or I can try and chance posting but it wonāt be collected till tomorrow morning if I pop it into the nearby box today on a dog walk.
I have a parcel from my brother, and the card from older sister, as they are now away. Plus another one, maybe a friend.
Bought myself a birthday cake today. Susie, I hope you and Rob will help me eat it!

@Jazzi @susiejaeger , I love how you are communicating on here when you obviously know each other in the real world.
One of the funniest examples Iāve ever come across was of two old-ish members on an old (and now defunct) forum who used to chat on the forum, but who cohabited in real life.
