Morning all, I only got 1 hr sleep last night and that was at 3am this morning due to the heat and coughing, we did have a pour down of rain last night, but the sun is back out and even hotter.

Yes Emjay, in Morrisons restaurant and when I collected some apples for the new press at the allotment.
Susie and I first met, I think, when she saw me in our branch of Boots. I have been to her house about 3-4 times, and they came to visit me when I stayed at a caravan. And I have invited Sue and hubby to the caravan on Sunday morning, as it is literally just up the road to them. With Susie now living just about 10-15 minutes drive from me it is easy to meet up now and then.
I have the coffee group this morning then no other plans. But do have a library book to finish (I got through Tim Weaverās over the weekend and am well stuck in another.)
Still a bit chilly here, till we get the sun over the roof tops. Just peeping over now,

Lots of lightning and thunder here last night.
I had a bad night as could not get comfortable with the knee.
My daughter bought me a small inflatable pillow that is good and better than the others that I have tried.
Silly daughter fried her car key in the microwave last night. She puts them in for security against the hackers that tour the area at times.
As she shut the door she accidentally press the on button. Just couple of seconds and fried. She had a spare that my grandson brought this morning.
Yesterday morning I did 837 yards = 0.48 of a mile walking with Minnie and daughter over the fields. With the crutches of course.

Grey and overcast here after a rainy night .Ive no plans for the day , may check out the loft see if any rain came through last night ā¦The builder never got back by email ,so it may be a phone call next .
I did a Wash in the night while awake , and cooked 2 Char Grilled Chicken Breast , Ive thrown them in the bin , tasted yuk !.

After the cafe meet, stopped to chat with couple opposite, one of the men nearby also joined us. Holly was very quiet for a good while then she was at the window barking at a neighbouring dog, so I went in to get her out for a walk,
Received two cards from coffee group ladies, and lady up the road who I stop to talk to also handed me one. She is away from tomorrow.
And in the post got my confirmation letter about my nose minor surgery.
And booked a cab for the morning. Off to south of Lowestoft for the diabetic retinopathy eye screening. I usually get buses back, which is easier and quicker than bussing there.

I fell asleep this afternoon i think for 4 hrs , I was woke by Ellie bangin the door to her food cupboard ā¦, lol. ( i had very little sleep last night )

Morning all.
Just finishing breakfast, will walk the dog then get ready. Cab is coming for me at 10.15. I like to leave plenty of time as we are going south of the town and over the bridge. Many is the time I have been held up, the other day for instance, when a big boat wants to come into the dock, so the bridge has to be raised. This is the only clinic here which does the diabetic retinopathy eye screening.

My appointment for the spinal unit has just come & itās not as long a wait as I thought. I go to see them on October 31st.
In the meantime Iām trying to help myself with gentle walking , water exercise & back exercises given to me by physio.
Today Iām meeting my friend Chris for a walk in the park followed by lunch at a restaurant thatās recently opened.
Daughter Sue is coming to go a little walk with Tony & take him to the pub.
Itās raining here at the moment so Chris & I may forgo the walk & browse the shops instead.

Good morning all.
It also rained here in the night. I noticed yesterday that both my ponds are filled to overflowing.
Very soon I shall be going with Minnie and daughter for our morning walk on the field.
A few days ago when my daughter went with Minnie, she saw a muntjac deer. How did it get into the field? The only way is through a small hole in the wire fence at the bottom of the small field.
Further investigation, it had also been seen along the āpathā. There is a very small overgrown wooded area there.
But how did it get there? As it is a small isolated area amongst a built up area.

Iāve been rather remiss with my posting as I am still busy at my daughterās house, although mainly supervising other trades now, and my Mum has been a worry with being in hospital for so long, but we think she will be allowed home later today which will be a blessed relief to us allā¦

Iām not long out of bed, having gone there for 2 hours. Should have been for 1. Fed the dog. Having a bit of cereal and a cuppa.

Yes she did Jan yesterday, which apparently went very well and the medics say that she should be cured, so well worth the wait. Iāll be collecting her later today and taking her home as my brother, who lives across the street from her, has his own appointment this afternoon elsewhere.
