Chit Chat Thread (Part 2)

Excellent and exciting times. Advise him that it might not be romantic, but if they’ve agreed to share certain things (eg furniture loans, potential lottery wins ) then make up a signed contract.

LOL , yes you have a good point there , @Dextrous63

Happy Bank Holiday Monday everybody.

I’m thinking we might get the mobility scooter out & go a longer walk than usual.
We will share it.

Yesterday Tony was mowing the lawn & I accidentally cut through the cable with my edging shears.
Tony had forgotten how to join it together but just then the neighbour came out. We got chatting & he mended the cable for us.
He’s new - the best neighbour we’ve had in years…

Have a good day all…

Afternoon all.

Emjay you look a lot better, I love the Wildlife boxer Pants.

Morning all.

Hope Emjay continues to get better.

Got to get the black bin into the alley before going to the cafe. A small group this week as many ladies have other commitments, and one lost her brother last week. Then I will attend the writing group this evening. Won’t stay late as I will need to walk the dog when I get home.

Good morning all.
Same old same old at the moment.
The pain killers ( Paracetamol) have won. I have always been against taking them, but now in my present state, I find that they are a must. Yes I admit they do the job.
Especially at 0400 in the morning, when it feels impossible to find a comfortable position for the leg without any pain.
Ok. Emails to sort through, puzzles to do, and a story to continue reading on the kindle.

Good morning everybody.

This lunchtime we’re meeting Tony’s sister Joy, for a walk in the town park & lunch afterwards.
He calls her his baby sister.

No other plans but might nip into Sainsburys whilst in town.

Have a good day all…

Morning folks.

Not sure what I will do today. Might get to see my sister before she goes off for a late shift at Sainsburys, whether that will be here or there, who knows.

Either way, will at some point need to move the car as it is currently parked round the corner. No spaces out here when I got home last night from writing group.

Good morning all
Had a busy day yesterday ,went to the village shop , walking there and back ,and Ive took the Fans back up into the Loft, I don’t think we shall have anymore heat waves now …
Stripped my bed , bedding now in the washer .
So today is a please myself day …

Have a wonderful day

Good morning all.
Yet another exciting day. I have a phone appointment with my Dr at 3pm an then physio at 5.30pm at the hospital.
As my daughter is taking me in her car, (Mercedes sporty type) we did a test run to see if I could get in and out. With a cushion on the seat, it was a doddle.
Weather here… does it matter?

Good morning everybody.

Following the MRI scan I had the other week, I’ve got a follow up hospital appointment today with the musculoskeletal service.
From what I can gather they are just a bit more qualified than physio. I don’t know if they’ll be able to answer my questions.

I’m just hoping they’ll give me some miracle exercises to do that will make me better!

No other plans. Tony is out with Ady.

Have a good day all…

Afternoon all, back from shopping, a pleasant day here.

Emjay sounds like you are on the mend.

Jazzi have a good time with Sis.

Carol, been through all that, they might be able to help you and give you exercises, they will run their hands down your thighs to see whether or not you can feel him.

Have a nice day all.

Good afternoon everyone, broken cloud and breezy here, feels quite comfortable now compared to that intense heat of a couple of week’s ago.

Off to the hospital later to visit my Mum, who has been awaiting a procedure for tummy problems but it was held up by her catching Covid while she was in there…

Enjoy the day folks

Many thanks Jan, she was only supposed to be in for a couple of days but it’s two weeks now, and it’s going to be at least another week so it’s a boredom thing as much as anything, although at least the family can now go in and visit her…

Wish your Mum well Barry.

Very best wishes to your Mum, Barry …… I hope all goes well and she has a speedy recovers.

Many thanks Mags, fingers crossed… :crossed_fingers:

Good Morning all.
Yes hope goes well Barry with your bestest friend you will ever have, your mum.
I went for my first physio at the hospital. All that was missing was the rack thing that they stretch you on until you grass on your friends.
Oh it was painful. Such a loverly lady though, so I endured the pain and suffering.
Today I am going to have the plasters removed and the STAPLES out. I have watched on YouTube how they do it. :flushed::face_with_symbols_over_mouth::grimacing:.
Just got a bread doing, and got a recommended cleaner coming this morning.
