A few of us will be at a private house this morning, instead of the cafe. A low turn out though as some of the others have other commitments. One lady has a brother very poorly with sepsis (not looking good) so she won’t be there.

Another day and hopefully more improvement with the knee.
Obviously there is not much I can do, but I actually washed up the breakfast things just now.
My daughter is still staying here for a few more days.
Luckily she only lives a 10 minute drive from me.
I am managing the stairs ok and also using the Zimmer frames. ( got 2).

Well Ive cancelIled my Physio for next week , I dont think I need it if Im walking round fields .
That saves my son having time off work to take me .
@Emjay nasty Bruise you have , but I bet you are glad to be home .
The Covid Booster Jabs start next Month,starting with the over 75s then working down to 50s .
Enjoy your walk Carol , we use to picnic on the fields at the side .

I cancelled my milk delivery today , My milk man is self employed and his Pint of milk rose to 95p,I shall have it delivered with my food delivery from the Supermarket .,its a big saving over the Month .
The weather is overcast here and rain forecast, so i will be staying in to do some Pie making , enough to freeze.

I think this recuperating is wonderful.
Left in bed until past 0800.
The trying to get the iffy leg comfortable is the hard bit.
I was woken in the night at about 0400 with lightning, thunder, and lots of rain.
I took just 1 paracetamol to ease the pain, and obviously it helped.
I think I told you a few weeks ago that my Dr said that I should stop taking Metformin. I did this and my blood sugar went up from 6ish to 8 ish. I know 8 for some 8 is still good.
But I would it rather it was 6. So I still am still taking just 1 a day. I wonder if continuing just taking the one a day could do me harm.

I had intended going to Aldi this afternoon but will scoot off there this morning instead.

Made a tactical mistake last night. I wanted us to be out of the house and on our way by 10.30 to mill around Nantwich, and mentioned this time to Mrs Dex. I’d momentarily forgotten who i was speaking to and hence failed to take into account the phase shift involved, and that I should have said 9.30 instead if we were to have any chance to be on the road by 10.30!!

Going to the church lunchtime concert today. Piano and organ. Meet up with a couple of ladies from the first coffee group, and we will have a cuppa and biccie beforehand.
