Good morning all .
Quite late this morning as I was not feeling too well. I realised that the staff here had messed up my medication. They were not giving them at the correct time and in the correct order.
They give me my own meds that I took in, and I am well organised with them. Sorted now I hope.

Ah Emjay, hope you are home soon, did they say how long it will take for recovery?

Gosh @Emjay, that’s not good - you do rather expect that medical/nursing staff will be exemplary in giving out meds! I hope they keep a closer eye on things for you.
Been to the pool for granddaughter’s swimming lesson this morning. This afternoon, about 3.00, I’m going round to dog sit for my son as they’re going to be out for the rest of the day, back first thing tomorrow morning. Dogs will be OK overnight, after all son and DiL do go to bed and leave them!

It was supposed to be a 3 night stay. But they will not let you out until they are confident that I can use the crutches and Zimmer frame.
Just a thought. Why would I want to leave here? Good grub, all my needs attended to, loads of nurses to flirt with.

Yes I am getting there Jan, they had me going up and down the stairs 7 of them. This morning.
My daughter has Minnie at her house. She loves it there as she has the cat to chase and play with.

Jan. I had it done at Holly house. I think I already said I went private. ££££££££££££££.
Ah yes, HH. Wondered if it could have been Enfield. You did say private, but I forgot about that place. What’s happening, are you home yet? Or another day?
Buckhurst Hill. No, not home yet. They have to wait to see if I can use the Zimmer frame and crutches successfully. I am doing well with them now. Maybe tomorrow or Tuesday.

Morning all, another night of fitful sleep but I guess it’s just par for the course as you get older? I used to be able to sleep for England but I just don’t seem to need that much now, long nights though…
Anyway, always a crossword or two to help pass the time before the day begins proper when I will be doing the Tesco shop and pottering in the garden.
Good to hear you’ve had your operation @Emjay here’s wishing you a full and speedy recovery. 
Had my early walk - smells like rain on the way - so it will probably be an indoor day for me. Must make some bread though - the last two slices in the breadbin are wearing a fur coat this morning! Off to rummage for Soda Bread ingredients - have a full and fun day everyone!

I expect that they will be chucking me out later this afternoon. It is up to the physio and how I do with the stairs. I did it ok yesterday and I have to go up and down twice the seven steps.
