Seems to be a lot cooler now.
Our bin men finally arrived this morning, watched them do mine out the front, and will need to take it back round the alley later, to my garden.
Meeting the houseās previous owner in the cafe at 2, chat and for me to hand over some post for her. I am pondering whether to have some toast in there for lunch.
Depending on how the weather is, no idea what we will get up to today.
Morning all, definitely a more manageable temperature today, but still warm enough for shoestring strap tops. This is perfect summer weather for me, canāt cope with high temperatures like I used to.
Got to go and pack soon as Iām moving into my sonās house for a week to look after their dogs while theyāre in Spain. They left about 6 this morning, but the dogs are OK on their own for a few hours. And later, around 11, Mr Bās taking his car in to have the air con re-gassed, so I have to follow him in my car to bring him back (it takes about an hour or so), and then take him back to collect it later. Canāt complain, Iāve been nagging him for months to get it done!

I managed to get my portable air con working at last, so it was a much better in my bedroom last night.
Both Minnie and I both slept well and I did not need to put a damp towel over her.
This morning I am going to the coffee morning at the Age UK hub. Itās just some thing to do. There has not been any of the promised rain here yet, although I did feel a few drips last evening.

a restless night again , Ellie was in some stress last night with the heat , really over panting , she didnt like the fan turned on her nor would she get in the bath , so finished up wetting a towel several times and putting that over her ,till i could feel her head cool down .Hope we dont get temps like that again .
Ive all doors and windows open cooling the rooms down .
I really feel for those that have lost their homes to wild fires , What a nightmare for them ,I hope there was no arson involved ,
Ive no plans other than dust ,

Iām meeting a friend it town for lunch & a browse round the shops.
I slept on my camp bed downstairs again last night. Itās really much cooler than the bedroom.
I was quite comfy.

Cooler here too today thank goodness, Iāve just been out to pick some berries but they are shrivelling up and falling off the plant, looks like weāre going to have a thin harvest this year if it doesnāt rain soonā¦

lovely and cool here and had a good nights sleep after taking a Nytol.
I went a walk last evening , my first since breaking my Fibula, I took my crutches along but found i didnt need them ,they only gave me support mentaly,
Ive got 2 Chicken pies in the oven cooking , these are what I made yesterday ,they will go in the Freezer when they have cooled down .
Im expecting a delivery today of 2 Skirts i bought on line, much cooler to wear in hot weather .Theres some really pretty dresses too online ,im tempted , but my wardrobe is already full , and i dont really go any where , that justifies buying a pretty dress .

Good morning everybody.
I am off soon to the local hospital for routine blood tests connected with my PMR.
I look like being stuck indoors all day as we have a joiner coming later to box the central heating pipes in that the plumber left in a disgusting state.
Weāve had overnight rain and much cooler now hurrah!! Maybe I will sleep upstairs tonight.

Good morning all.
There is a lot of activity on the field this morning as it is the schools sports day.
I took my camera out with me, but no foxes about, or any other wildlife.
I went to the ācoffee timeā, yesterday, thatās what they call it. There was not a lot of people there, but it was such a laugh. We were playing darts, as there is a new dart cabinet there with two sets of darts and accessories.
Nothing much planed for to day, so will just let it happen.

Waiting for a Garage man, will be here about 12 noon, we need a new Garage Up and Over door, ours is knackered, then we will go out to Gorleston and have Fish and Chips and need to buy a few things in Town.

We had a lot of rain yesterday evening, meaning I had to get Holly out, whatever, and we got a little wet! It was still hot in the bedroom for the main part. Had to put the air cooler on for a few minutes, and Holly laid on the floor in front of it. She was panting, poor thing.
I woke up this morning at 6, used the bathroom and made a decaf coffee, then slept in till 8.30. Still, as Emjay saysā¦weāre retired, who cares? 
Trying to decide whether to go SM shopping today or tomorrow. I has no bread. Could improvise, taking rolls from the freezer, but will decide later.
Err, is that a technical term @susiejaeger ā¦ 
Much cooler here although still quite humid, but no complaints now weāve lost that fierce heat.
Not much planned for later other than a trip over to daughterās new (old) house to check the drains.

overcast and a bit of mizzle . Im awaiting a delivery of Tyres in the next hour, not mine ,but as im in mostly all the time ,family have them delivered to me .
Ive been in the garden dead heading and among the cosmos are Bees resting on their backs , I went back to check on them and they are now busy again .Sometimes they need a energy boost, a drink of sugar water brings them round usually .

We have the joiner in again today boxing in the central heating pipes.
We will leave him to it for a couple of hours to attend the Alzeimers get together we joined last week. Tony isnāt too keen on it but we must go, as last week I got a Ā£100 parking fine. Apparently you have to enter your car reg on a screen inside the building. The organiser of the group told me to give him the paperwork & he will sort it out for me.
Weāre having our grandson Josh for a sleep over so all in all a busy day.

Holidays? I feel that my life is one big holiday.
There has not been any of this forecast rain here. Although it is very cloudy. Maybe if I washed my car, that might get a downpour.
I once had a caravan, and every time we went somewhere it would rain.
Plans for todayā¦ thinking about it.
Just going to my daughter this evening for dinner. It really is the best meal of the week for me.
