I should add that the dentist treatment is only for a crown on a tooth that keeps loosing its filling. I don’t expect any real problems.
As for the knee surgery, it is going to be done quick, because I am paying for it and not NHS.

No real plans today, difficult really to get enthusiastic about anything with my painful knee - day 5 now and no sign of it letting up 
I fancy doing some patchwork today, as I’ve got so much scrap fabric that I really should put it to use.

Hope those with pain can get through the day ,I soldier on , I think the swelling maybe going down ,but i was told it could swell up again in 2 weeks time or even 2 year time,thats a bummer.
But on the good side when the bone heals ,im told it will be good as new .

At the present time I have nothing planed for today, so will just let it happen.
I might mess about with my laptop and put the CDs with loads of ebooks on them, onto a memory stick.
I wonder, if CDs are on their way out, like floppy discs before them?

Cooking a roast dinner and maybe doing some writing, is on today’s agenda, and many dog walks.
Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn’t seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other guy whips out his phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps: “My friend is dead! What can I do?” The operator says: “Calm down, I can help. First, let’s make sure he’s dead.” There is a silence, then a shot is heard. Back on the phone, the guy says: “OK, now what?”
So the man shot his friend, RS? That’s terrible. Was he arrested?
What on earth possessed him to do it? It’s hard to believe that somebody would do something like that.
I’m simply lost for words. 
Just had a phone call earlier this evening saying a cousin of mine has died,she lived in Cornwall. Maybe it our age group but the number of friends/relatives that have passed away in the last couple of years is so sad
Morning all, looks like shopping for me then a few hours in the kitchen, and if it stays fine then maybe an hour in the garden later.

It’s no longer a walk around the fields, more like a hobble for about 100 yards and back. At least Minnie can run around for her exercise.
I just hope that they will give me a date for the replacement operation soon.

Expecting Mr Amazon today, with ear drops for Holly. She isn’t displaying signs yet of an infection but she has been scratching at one making it sore. Several times I have had to rescue her foot where the claws got stuck in the fur. She is definitely due a cut (this Thursday!!)
Will check the tracking first, before popping round to the chemist. Need to collect my repeat meds, if ready.
Other than that, not sure of plans.
Right, dog walk beckons.
Just back from the daily walk and already so hot even at 8.30am. yet one still sees dogs being walked and basically dragged along, no thought for how hot is is for their paws on the pavements
still no butterflies or bees about this year
@Jazzi Holly maybe scratching her Ear because of Fleas ,we are in the Flea season , Id check her Ear this is where they hide along with her fur .
Spot On is good to keep Fleas and Ticks away .
She does have one I keep seeing, even tho she is up to date. Due more this week, and I will try something else after her groom. I plan on blitzing the house again while she is there. Stood her on wheelie bin in garden yesterday, constantly running the flea comb through. Worries me when I see one on her. They are so quick and hide before I can get the tools. One is an electric blitzer but she is not keen on that.
Thinking of getting a natural ingredient collar.
A late good morning to you all. It’s very pleasant today, warm but not too warm, just lovely.
I’m late checking in today because I’ve been at my daughter’s since just after 8.00, to look after my poorly granddaughter. She was off school Friday, complaining of a headache and feeling sick. My daughter stayed home with her then, because she didn’t want to risk me getting any bug. Granddaughter perked up, was fine on Saturday and Sunday, out and about playing with friends, and then last night she projectile vomited all over the bathroom.
Daughter was so worried about having even more time off work, so I offered to stay with her. Then about 10.30 my daughter rang Mr B and asked him to pick her up because she was feeling dreadful. I left pretty soon after she got back home, just prepared my granddaughter’s lunch and the dog’s 1.00pm meal, so daughter wouldn’t have to do it, then skedaddled out of there. Hmm, not much chance of me and Mr B staying clear of it, is there
