A little earlier today. Already been out with Minnie, and managed the walk round the field with out too much pain in the knee.
I have already made a phone appointment with Dr for next week. I am determined to get it sorted even if I have to go privately.
As last week I am going to Sainsbury’s with my daughter later.
Morning all, a much brighter start here and forecast for a dry, warm day… luvverly… 
Nothing much planned, just a check up at the dentist and then give Oscar a grooming later on, although if I get time I may make it over to Mum’s to mow her lawns.

Cafe meet this morning, then out to writing group this evening. New venue, and close to home, so happy to leave the dog for a few hours. She will need to get used to being left of an evening.

The weather here can’t make up its mind. Rain in the night, sun was out with some blue sky, now clouding over and looks like rain again.
Yesterday morning at 0915am I had a phone call from the hospital where I had my injections. It would seem that I had a follow up meeting with the consultant about my knees. This I knew nothing about.
I was asked if I could come in that morning instead of the afternoon appointment. Yea right so I got there at 10.00am. ( it’s only a 10 minute drive.)
I have now got to decide whether to suffer, or have the replacement. At the moment, it is 60 for and 40 against. I was told it is a. 3 to 6 month wait. Unless I went private @ £12,000. And it could be done almost tomorrow.

I need to get to the pharmacy again, in the hope they have the remainder of my meds. I shall need them by tomorrow so have to get today. Also I could pop into town, take a book back to the library, and get my Holland & Barrett order. If it’s raining here (and a possibility) I will take the car. The pharmacy was so busy Monday when I first called in I feel like asking my gp to go back to Superdrug in town. The lady serving me was very slow and seemed to be on training. And the queues are always out of the door.
Last night went well at the writing group. Holly was well behaved while I was out, and we just did a quick wee walk when I got home about 9.30.

Just changed bed linen, and got one of the on top fleeces in for a hot wash. Found a couple of fleas in my bed last night, so from 10 to 10.30 I was locating and squashing, applying some spray and diacutaneous Earth! Been tidying all that up since with hoover and mini vac, and applying the vac to the bed. Fresh linen on, waiting for one wash to hang out, then will do the other fleece. These go on top of the bed for Holly to lie on, otherwise she will slide down the gap my mattress topper leaves.
Wouldn’t mind but she has been treated, as was the house, recently.
I had a headache last night, so took more pain killers, and have woken up with it. Got a bit stressed yesterday with neighbours both sides.

A bit later than usual as Minnie wanted to go out at 5. Went back to bed and fell asleep again until 7.30.
Just done the walk around the field with Minnie, and knee was ever so slightly better.
Nothing planed so will just let it happen.

Up at 5.30 as Holly needed to go toilets. Back to bed, me with a decaf coffee, and hopefully a little lie in.

Off to the Optician this morning for sight test, then shopping at Wilko, QD, Morrison’s, Iceland and Bakers, then back home.
My Cat is still not well and not eating well.

I have done a mildly painful walk with Minnie around the field. Now resting, and I have discovered that after a while the aches lessen, so it ain’t too bad.
Nothing else planed, except going to my daughter for dinner this evening.

Im on my own this weekend with no Green walks ,my walking companion is in the IOM watching the TT racing,theres been 5 deaths so far this year in the races , such a loss for a Bike ride .

My daughter will be dragging me out to go to Iceland in Debden. Why go there up the M11 when there is one just up the road.

Being lazy this morning. Had a lie in, after my earlier cuppa and tablets. The sun was too strong for me to sit by the window, so I went back to bed. Just finishing breakfast and will then contemplate a dog walk.

Afternoon everyone. It’s been a beautiful day here so far. I was up early-ish to take my granddaughter to her swimming lesson, then back to her house because I’d promised her a crafting session. Lots of painting, clay and 3D paint - she had fun!
We got home yesterday after our trip to Essex for my sister’s funeral. I’m afraid I was a sobbing, snotty mess at the service, especially when her coffin was brought in, accompanied by Nimrod, from Elgar’s Enigma Variations. This piece of music was a lifelong favourite of hers, after she bought the album in her teens. All my life I’ve associated it with her - the day before she died my nephew Face-Timed me at the hospital so I could talk to her. She was drifting in and out of sleep/consciousness by this time, so I played Nimrod to her, on full volume, with my phone held near Alexa. It was so good to see she was really moved by the music - I could tell she enjoyed it, and I was glad I did that for her.
So, an extremely emotional day, but everyone’s relieved that it’s now over - the service was truly beautiful and I know she would have been so very proud of her two boys for all they did to make the day so special in her memory.
Oh well, now I must try to ‘move on’, get on with the rest of my life without her. It’s gonna be hard.
