Iām not doing much this morning. I had planned to go to Aldi but daughter Karen sent a text to say sheās calling to see us.
Weāre meeting Josh from school at 3.00 so it will be a busy time from then onwards. I think weāll take him on the playground in the park for an hour before coming to our house for his tea. Heās not been here on his own for a while - not since I broke my elbow so Iām hoping heāll not object. If he isnāt happy Iāll just have to take him straight home.
At least no cooking for me tonight. I did us a chicken dinner yesterday with enough to warm up for tonight. Josh will have Pizza. Itās all he eats nowadays. Josh is Autistic & we have to feed him what he will eat. Heās such a fussy eaterā¦

Thanks Carol. Just been to bed for about an hour. Now up, with a coffee. Tummy upset has stopped, I just feel so tired from lack of sleep.
My nieceās possibly autistic toddler will only eat rice. Thatās it. Mind, most goes on the floor when he is in his high chair. Niece took him for an assessment recently but because it was same place as hearing test, which he wasnāt happy with, he had a meltdown, so they stopped after 15 mins. They did notice he wouldnāt answer/respond to his name. My sister fears he will never talk. He is 3 in August.

Tummy has settled down, thankfully. Now I just hope to get a normal appetite back. We were both in bed by about 8.45, though as we didnāt do the late walk the dog got me up in the night. I wore ear plugs which helped settle me for better sleep.
No specific plans for me today, but might clean up kitchen and bathroom, if I feel like/up to it.

Thanks Barry. I never manage to get out to a SM so early but made the exception yesterday when I shot out the door at 7.15 for Morrisons. Wouldnāt mind but never got to need the Imodium in the end, which can only be a good thing. I was annoyed with the boys next door making a noise so left the house in a huff. Usually I have to walk the dog first, but of course she wasnāt at home.

Also had a bad night. Just could not get to sleep. It was after 1 when I last looked at the clock. Woke up at 4 for toilet. Then get back to sleep till 7.
Knee is a bit better, managed 1,300 steps and .45 of a mile so far today and that is including a bit of the walk on the field with Minnie.
Dinner at my daughters this evening, and that will be the best meal of the week.
Morning everyone, so glad the day has dawned bright and sunny, so my granddaughterās school jubilee celebrations will be able to go ahead outside as planned. I always pick her up from school on a Friday, so I will be able to watch all the fun, as it goes on for 3/4 of an hour after school. Donāt think Iāll be getting on the bouncy castle though

Thanks Sheba - yes Josh was happy to stay with us. We collected him from school at 3.00 and took him home at 7.00. A lot of the time was spent on the park - He loves climbing trees. A couple of pics below. At one point I got a bit worried when he refused to come downā¦
Today will be a quiet day for us. Just housework & a walk round the pond.

good morning all , the sun is out and the wind as dropped,looks like its going to be a nice day .I must find out where that small pieces of rubble come from thats lying in front of my window .
I went to the village shops yesterday and noticed all the Bunting out for the Platinum .
Also noticed 2 shops had closed down .
While up in the loft I came across a flag from the last Queens jubilee in 2012,
I really should think about getting some Souvenir for this , to past down to family .
The Queen was crowned the year I was born ,so my life as been as long as her reign,
I think she as been a good Queen ,giving her life to the job .
Not sure of my plans today.

I had a lovely day yesterday ,I went to a BBQ ,it was nice to have food cooked for me and no washing up after .
Today Im being taken to the Peak District where my husband ashes were scattered along with our last dogs ashes .,its a long drive and a long walk when we get there but it will be worth it .

Supermarket shopping for me this morning. Yesterday I thoroughly cleared the fridge, and cleaned. So a lot was thrown away, and I am running out of Anchor.
I had intended, maybe going with sister, to go and look if we could see the Red Arrows coming back to their UK base (they will fly over south Suffolk into Norfolk). However, I spent hours yesterday Googling what looks to be their flight path, but couldnāt see anywhere (safe) to park. As that f/path isnāt guaranteed, I had to call her back to say sorry, I donāt think we should go. I am upset, naturally, but realised there was no point if I couldnāt park up anywhere. It is all country lanes, no lay-bys, tall trees by the road sides,
