Yes she did Jan yesterday, which apparently went very well and the medics say that she should be cured, so well worth the wait. I’ll be collecting her later today and taking her home as my brother, who lives across the street from her, has his own appointment this afternoon elsewhere.
Might start packing today, for our caravan holiday starting tomorrow. Well, late afternoon! As well as Holly’s food and bits, have my birthday stuff to take, as well as the cake I hope to enjoy.
I had thought of going to Toby’s for breakfast on Sunday morning but realise I have most of the ingredients for a fry up already, so just before leaving will pack all that up in one box to go straight into the fridge when I get there. Won’t have the dog first thing so I can have a leisurely brekkie before going to get her. Save myself a few bob as I intend either eating out on Saturday, or taking something back to the caravan.
Good morning all.
Not a good night for me, just could not get comfortable with the knee. I think I just got about 4 hours of sleep, after resorting to taking 2 Nytol.
My daughter took me to the local carvery for lunch. I don’t think I should have had the desert of periferols and cream.
Again thunder storms in the night, and raining now.
I did another good walk yesterday morning , 0.35 of a mile.
Good morning all posted this in the wrong Thread , so copied and pasted to here .
The Britain Bike Ride is going through my Village today ,last time it went through it was very exciting to be part of it Cheering them on …
I hope to get some Photos and Video.
@susiejaeger The Thunderstorm we had the other night was bad , but I know at the Coast they seem 10 times worse ,A shame its ruined your Solar lights , but look on the bright side it wasn’t your house .
Morning everyone, rain most of the night but drier now and quite warm again.
The bike ride is going through our town as well this afternoon and they’ve started closing roads already! But what an inane idea it is to inconvenience millions of people right through the country trying to carry on their normal business, just for sake of some people who want to spend twenty minutes standing in the rain cheering people they don’t know, the whole premise is absolutely ridiculous. If they want to race then do it round a circuit, I hear Donnington racetrack isn’t getting much use at the moment…
Anyway rant over, although I may start again when I need to get over to my Mum’s later…
Just watched the Bike Ride , go through, What a good job the Police Motor bikes did with the Rolling Road Blocks , no more than the few minutes it took for the Bikes and Support Cars to go through , and so well supported by each and and every Village .Weather was Excedingly good ,
Last time Hubby was alive and stood at side of me , so it felt in some ways like reliving a memory
even our Son had the day off work to once again make a memory .
Good morning all.
I have just done a complete circuit of the big field. I was just walking with the crutches and nattering to my daughter. I did not realise what i was doing.
Weather here is bright at the moment, with lots of cloud
