Yes very late on parade, but I have a good excuse.
Got up late and everything was also late.
I had to go do my daughters cat, and got caught up with the school traffic. Then went to my friend and supplying the apples and rhubarb, we made two pies. One foe each of us.
Back home now and going to take Minnie out for her afternoon stroll.
When I went out with Minnie this morning, the workers arived to do the field maintenance such as cutting the grass and marking out the football pitches.
So, how’s the weather up North

Why are there two threads on members wishing other a good morning etc, or am I missing something?
Yes Glenn there is a difference. On this thread there are very few contributors, but people often chat about things throughout the day, whereas on the Good morning thread many more people post but they just normally post a “Good morning” message once and leave it at that.
Just a forum tradition I guess, but I must admit the number of contributors to the Chit Chat has diminished over the years.

Not very good here, and quite a chaotic morning for me.
Well it was bucketing down so neither Minnie or I wanted to go out as usual.
I was up early as I had to do daughters cat and go to Sainsbury’s.
I left home at 0745 and got back 0930.
There had been a coming together with a car an motorcycle. I was lucky as I managed to squeeze past the police car that was holding up the traffic.
Done daughters cat, then went to see my friend (lives very close to daughter) as I had stuff for her.
Traffic to Sainsburys was a walking pace as because of the accident, traffic including buses was being diverted.
When I got back, rain had almost stopped so took Minnie out. Now having a cupa.

Fraggle, Cheshire Cat started this thread some years ago, and contributors come and go. Azz obviously thought it worth continuing on this new site, and yes, we basically chat about anything!
I enjoyed my coffee morning at the park. It did try to rain but didn’t spoil our time. I came back - Holly was with me - and walked her, then did my lunch. Just sitting about now, wasting time, while I wait for 4.30 and my workman, to see to his damp remedial work.
I do need shopping and petrol but that can wait till tomorrow. Might change my bed linen. Oh how exciting.
Susie, was hubby buying or selling?
I can hear the refuse collectors so will listen out for neighbours bringing their bins back up the alley and then fetch mine.
My Day…Dentist by 9.00am and Husband agreed the cleaning process is a good outcome…just at the time you find yourself rivetted to the chair and thinking postive thoughts… like this will end soon…be brave and then really not feeling that either.
Done for another year hopefully…she did wiggle my baby tooth a tad and I backed off then…
Rain on and off since.lunchtime and Humid. Cats in now, so they know that also…they are not youngsters so sleep a lot…

We changed our plans today as it started tipping down around half seven, so we went to Bridport and spent the day with Rosemary’s SIL which was very pleasant. More than likely do today’s plan tomorrow instead.
Just heard that I’ve become a great grandad again for the second time, a baby girl born to my granddaughter Kiara! No details yet but Mum and infant apparently both doing well.

My post of a few minutes ago failed to settle. I know not what I wrote!
Doing laundry, then will go to the SM, for some shopping and petrol. And I must book a cab for an appt tomorrow. It’s for my diabetic retinopathy eye test, so no driving allowed, and the clinic would be two buses home. Rather awkward to get to in a hurry.
ETA. Had an email from my energy supplier, Octopus. They are putting their prices up. Yes of course they are! It’s winter. Argh.
