Booster, are you up for it?

I’ve just been invited to take my Covid booster jab - just need to arrange it.

Thank you Meg. I’m tons better, its amazing how quick I got well again when taking the antis.

I’m really sorry to hear about the meds still not doing for you, you must be so fed up :frowning:

Keep fighting on, hopefully they can find something that will help, I’m awaiting the results of a 48 hour heart monitor but sods law I wasn’t in an episode, will have to wait and see. I’m thinking of buying a Kardia but I’m not happy about having to pay a monthly fee also :frowning:

If you have an iPhone this app is available, free too. No idea what it’s all about, I just happened to see it so thought it might be useful.

There may be something similar for other mobiles, perhaps worth having a look to see if there is.

@LionQueen Thank you Bev :slightly_smiling_face: I am giving up on most of the meds.
You don’t have to pay a monthly fee for KARDIA , I don’t subscribe but occasionally pay £5 for an interpretation of a recording if I think something odd is going on and I get it back in 24 hours.

@Baz Hi Bazz, the App is free but no use to you unless you have the KARDIA device to go with it and you pay for that .

OK Meg, thanks. I know nothing about that at all. Like a lot these days modern technology is very good, it seems there’s an app. for everything so thought it might be of help.

Nothing’s for nothing – I overlooked that but that’s the way things are I guess.

@LionQueen Hope you get things sorted out OK anyway, best wishes.

Had my booster jab yesterday. Was the Pfizer BionTech.
Have had no adverse reactions. Being Pfizer wondered if there may have been some additional benefits :joy::innocent::zipper_mouth_face:

I called to schedule my booster. They told me to go to a web page and schedule it that way. I go to web page and get:

You gotta be kidding me?!?

Par for the course. :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Try a refresh on that page? It could be busy or overloaded?

Been trying to get on for 2 days now. I even emptied all my cookies, which is a pain. I will just call them, and they will say due to it being overloaded it’s crashing. That’s usually the cause on these COVID sites.

Hi

Never had a problem with my first two Astraenica, the booster last night was Moderna.

I have a painful lump on the injection site, pins and needles and a very weak arm and generally feeling lousy.

The boosters where given in a Church, I had mine at 7:20 yesterday evening, they were queing to get in, very busy.

Hope that goes away quickly! :grinning:

Good job done, Chillie :+1:

You must have “moderna arm”. they now seem to be calling it “Covid arm” but that was the original name. Covid Arm: Causes, Safety, Treatment, and More

oh, thanks for telling me that Meg. I think I will buy one.

Keep plodding Meg x

oh Swimmy, I hope you feel better soon. Big hugs from me x

Of course it’s quite normal, nobody would have the jab if it wasn’t!
So it’s not because the injection pumped it’s contents into the wrong part of the tissue then…
:flushed:

Hi

No OGF, the injection was done properly, it a merely a reaction showing my antibodies are working,
