I’m so sorry you are poorly Bev …Best advice is do what your body tells you and make sure you have lots of water…xxx
I had two Pfizer jabs this year, followed by a booster of Moderna yesterday afternoon.
Eleven hours on, no problems other than mild soreness at the stab, I mean, jab site.
I am lucky where vaccines are concerned because I have never had an adverse reaction to any of the ones I’ve been given over my 67 years on the planet, and I have had every one that’s been offered.
So sorry to hear that Queenie, Doctor Robert is sending all his love and best wishes and a months worth of hugs to be administered every four hours…
Jeez LQ, I hope you feel better soon.
I doubt I’ll have a booster, I’ve had 2 vaccines and I’ve also had COVID-19.
So sorry you feel so unwell @LionQueen, sending you best wishes and hope you feel better soon. x
Oh poor you, Queenie! Hugs and positive thoughts on their way to you.
Everyone I know who has had the booster have all been very ill afterwards. I am not going there!
thank you for all your lovely words and good wishes, it means a lot. I’m still quite poorly and my cough is very chesty. Doctor prescribed me antibiotics today, 3 times a day so hopefully I’ll be up and back to normal in a day or two (oh but I forgot, I’m not normal so maybe not lol)
The worst part for me is not being able to see my Dad, my husband is doing a good job of seeing to Dads needs though and he’s taken over from me for now. My husband is a good man and he and Dad get on brilliantly.
Again, thank you for the good thoughts and wishes, love yas xxxxx
Pfizer Mupsy, I had pfizer all three times, no ill effects with the first two.
Odd how you were OK first two times Queenie, maybe your body felt three was an overload.
Hope the antibiotics help real soon.
Hope you are feeling a bit better today xx
Hi Summer and all
I’m so much better today it’s untrue, antibiotics are a miracle pill, I’ve even been dressed and out to see Dad today! I’m left with a chesty cough which is at its worst first thing at morning and last thing at night, drives me mad but I’m delighted I feel ok in my head now.
xxxx
So pleased you are on the mend Queenie.
Good job you got the antibios when you did.
Just had my booster jab in arm, didn’t have any troubles with the Astra zenica one last time but had to have the Pfizer one this time.
Hi LQ I hope you are better soon. You need to rest and take particular care when you have other health issues.
My son (who has yet to have the booster and is due) has had a similar horrid cough and chest infection which is going the rounds here.
I made the mistake of giving the new antiarrhythmic meds ‘one last go’ and have had a dreadful few days so I missed your original post x.
I am getting a bit concerned about the booster. People in my town report such adverse effects from it (bed ridden for at least 2 days). My sister said she and my BiL felt a bit spaced out after theirs. Their son, who has had Covid, said that’s what the virus felt like. Mine is due this Saturday, and I can’t afford to be ill afterwards.
Since the flu jab, Saturday a week before, I have felt sniffly and have an unsightly sore on my nose where I keep wiping it. I hope all symptoms have gone by this weekend and I can face the booster with a healthier body.
Hi
Looking forward to getting mine tonight, next stop the Flu Jab.
Had mine 10:00 this morning. Was the Pfizer BionTech.
So far no I’ll effects
I hope all goes well for with your vaccination tonight, Swimmy…
Well done Chillie, hope there are no reactions later other than the soreness.
