Something to help decide whether you should panic. Look at how the study was set up. And remember, humans generally do not eat round up treated or GMO corn. It goes onto livestock feed products that first go to cattle and other animals, then to humans. The study says nothing about the effects of that aspect of the food chain.
The world today is a nightmare Pummie, we are constantly been overwhelmed by someone trying to make you think in a certain way, through advertising, the news, religion and politicians. When do you realise that someone is doing it for financial gain, to provoke unrest, or open your eyes to dubious practices. Who do you believe?
My philosophy is to question everything with an open mind. And if that means giving the conspiracy theorists their fifteen minutes of fame then so be it.
Nine times out of ten it make absolutely no difference whatsoever what I believe or subscribe to. I mostly rely on 66 years of experience to guide me through the minefield of input directed at me twenty four seven. The progress of technology is no help either with conflicting theories and opinions coming at me at the speed of light. I am but putty in the hands of the establishment, but every now and then I say…Nooooooooooo
You are taking the piss…And then it’s time to put on my boots and rucksack and get as far away from man’s influence as I can…And women’s for that matter!
I went to my sons house for Christmas and saw he has a smart meter - the first I have ever seen.
I now an a bit concerned about all these potential health hazards but as someone stated aren’t these things all around us anyway?
Wifi and EMF radiation is indeed all around us in various forms. Nevertheless, that wouldn’t make you happy sitting on top of a BT mobile phone mast would it?
And if the council came round knocking on your door to say they plan to erect an O2 telecoms mast outside you property, I’m sure you would object and rally all your neighbours to object too
So yes, whilst there is Wifi and EMF radiation all around us, it is all of different frequencies and strengths. When you use a mobile phone and hold it up to your head it’s there for a very short time typically. You wouldn’t strap it to the side of your head and leave a call open indefinitely.
A smart meter is blasting away EMF radiation at high strength pretty much continuously. In the USA the energy companies told customers that they only fire up a couple of times per day for a short period but savvy customers with EMF hand-held meters have shown that the Smart Meters are pinging away every minute.
Bolt one of these to the side of your house and you’re simply irradiating yourself on a 24x7 basis as well as irradiating your neighbours. Get a whole street to accept Smart Meters and you may as well go sit on top of that O2 telecoms mast !
A key issue here is that once you allow the company to install a Smart Meter, it can’t then be removed again and swapped back to the old style. So you MUST refuse to have on from the outset.
Smart Meters ARE NOT mandatory no matter what your energy company says. In fact people complained to Ofcom because British Gas were aggressively pushing the meters to customers and saying that they had to have one. Ofcom confirmed that Smart Meters are not mandatory.
No-one, but no-one can force you to have a high strength EMF radiation emitting device bolted onto YOUR property.
So when the time comes, and it will, tell them to take a jump of a very high cliff. Tell your neighbours too because if their house is close to yours and they accept a Smart Meter then you’ve lost the battle anyway.
Actually just make a Faraday cage instead. If you end up with a Smart Meter just wrap fine mesh around it to make a Faraday cage, then the EMF signals will go nowhere.
I suggested that as an option some time ago, but others on here said that they’d only send someone round to see why it wasn’t transmitting, which is very true.
My electricity (and gas) meters are outside and so it’s no good covering a meter and having the opportunity to remove the covering when they announce a visit.
What I need is an untraceable ‘jammer’ that I can site indoors and turn on and off as needed! The Brits are an inventive lot, and I have a feeling that someone might come up with something if the demand is there.
Something I suggested a couple of weeks ago, but it was quickly pointed out, quite correctly, that if the supply company found that they were not receiving signals they would send someone to have a look at their meter to find out why.
Just like the days when I was one of the last employees to hold out from having my wages paid into my bank account, I held out as long as I could but was eventually engulfed by the rising tide of progress…I fear the advancing army of smart meters will soon overpower the rebels…Just a matter of time…
Millions will accept them no doubt. They will socially comply with the bully boy tactics being employed like British Gas telling people that THEY HAVE TO HAVE THEM, which is patently untrue and a disgusting lie. They have been pulled up by Ofcom on such tactics but will nevertheless fail to tell customers that they don’t have to have them.
People simply need to stand tall and sit tight, refuse a Smart Meter, refuse an engineer permission entry to your property to install one.
You CAN ask for the WiFi element of a Smart Meter to be disabled and if you have done that, there is no reason at all why you shouldn’t put a Faraday cage around it to ensure the company does not abuse that decision. It is YOUR property. NO-ONE but NO-ONE can force you to have a dangerous EMF irradiating device bolted to your property. Stand firm.
