It was Sunak that started all this fiasco when he got everyone to hand in their notice.
A better way to achieve the top job than in a general election perhaps.

Sunak helped get rid of Johnson, even if his motive was self-interest, so heās done one good thing!
Ousting Johnson the amoral liar at least went part way to restoring our integrity as a nation and reducing our shame internationally.
In some ways, it doesnāt matter who takes over, weāve restored some of our principles on what behaviour is unacceptable in a PM

Well yes the country will be replacing a lying amoral buffoon with a liar thatās an improvement.
I believe that the situation we now find ourselves in has been totally manufactured, at least from the time of Borisās parties to the lies and employment of a groper. Someone has been gathering information to oust Boris for a long time, and parties and lies are the best they could come up with. Sunak must have somebody very powerful behind him pulling his strings and who can control the media, and I fear we may have thrown a good PM out to be replaced with something far worse.
Labour went into the wilderness after ousting Bliar, tories to go the same way perchance.
It seems the conservatives were gripped by a mass hysteria whipped up by the media over relative trivialities. I think not only will they regret dumping Boris but the country will too, if the new incumbent doesnāt measure up pdq to get the government back on track with a more coherent economic policy.
As I have said many times though particularly to the Boris and conservative haters, be careful what you wish for as a coalition of the opposition led by Starmer really would destroy usā¦ 
I see the odds have switched Mordaunt for Truss as the bookies 2nd favourite.
What sort of person would bet on Truss becoming a world leader ā¦
