Yes, it is nice to chat with people here, a social lot like Robert - I have known him for quite a number of years now. I’m sorry that your ex scarpered but possibly for the best. Similar for me when first wife gave me the chop. Then I met my new wife and that has worked splendidly. So maybe you will find find new man in your life ?

Yes the young have no staying power.
That is a new one, choc ices in bed lol. However I too am on a health kick as weight does seem to creep up on you.
I have found that a good cup of coffee and gradually moving and keep on moving and then taking on the task works well, don’t stop, keep moving, you can do it. Don’t quit just because it hurts, make something hurt too. They cancel each other out. take a Tylenol and a good hot shower later.

No way after early afternoon though, it’s an insomnia thing. I’m too old for the Nosferatu lifestyle!
When I lived in Portugal, I’d do this ten times a day,
No ciggies now, and just one coffee per day.

But had meet-ups four times a year.
Meeting members in Reality was a realistic Hoot.

Yes face to face meets were great. I was with a group called Buzz 50, we met twice a month in and around the Manchester area, it went on for about 10 years and then lock down came. Where you all gone ??

Do recall that two ladies, one from Ozz, the other from the Canary Islands. Visited at least once a year.
