Your experience of spirits/ghosts and the unexplained

Wow, sounds so much like the haunted semi-detached house my maternal grandparents stayed at very briefly when my Mother was about 5 years old. There were sounds of music and dancing on the upper floors, the loos constantly flushing on the same floor.

This happening every night. Accompanied by the footfalls of people arriving and departing on the stairs from around 4pm till almost 3am. The blood which appeared in the bucket from washing the floors in the third floor and the final straw, the rope appearing at the bottom of said stairs and the blood dripping.

Mother had told Papa the story and he retold it to me every Halloween. I finally wrote it down as a Paranormal Essay on my blog.

The first signs at my sibling’s house were the cupboard doors opening and closing in front of myself and brother-in-law when we went down to the kitchen for warm milk as we were both suffering from asthma that night just before a major storm.

Must admit I was more frightened to see them doors banging than encountering dearly departed souls. You never know which kind of spirits poltergeist are but usually it’s bad news.

Glad to know you got out. Cheers @M44

That is quite harrowing to say the least.
Goodness knows what went on in or around that house that was manifesting itself to you regarding the blood and rope. Yes, been around when things ‘happen’ and have tried not to give it any further energy, which can be challenging. Thank you for sharing!

My story’s about my cousin, he bought his first home which was a new build . He went to bed that night, and was awoken to a feeling of being frozen in place. The dog was going wild barking in the corner of the room. He looked over and there was a silhouette of a monk in the corner. The next day he went the local library to look through the archives. In the 1800s there was a monastery on the site and a grave yard for the monks. He never went back to the house. He sold it a year later and lost a lot of money In the process.

Thank you for sharing, Scouseally!
I always appreciate when some digging is done on the possible reasons for an ‘uninvited’ guest. This does help if you have doubts about what you are seeing where additional information can shed some possible light on what you are seeing or feeling, especially in this case when seeing monk.
