Llanelli are withdrawing from the league when the season ends and are struggling to get a side on the pitch.
They play us in Newport in two weeks.

What they have done is very odd.
But the Scarlets regional side is king down there.
I was talking to a guy involved in the running of Llanelli RFC and he said their stated plan to play friendlies next season is a pipe dream-because they won’t have any players and every other team will be occupied on a Saturday afternoon.
Their only hope is being included in a new eight team elite league that nobody actually wants and probably won’t happen.
And if Llanelli RFC decide to return to the league system the rules require them to start in Division Five.
He said that won’t happen…
So in two weeks I may be seeing Llanelli RFC play their last game.
