I was at my old mum’s yesterday, and she was watching some quiz show or other whose name escapes me, but it’s very similar to Wordle.
Wordle can give you one of these if you aren’t careful!

I’ve played hello wordl quite a lot, but have found it has a limited database, because some words have been repeated lots of times - wound, braid and smoky are some that get repeated, and there are others. I’ve just played it again, and the correct word was abode - that’s another one that’s come up a few times. On my iPhone I play Wordex. That seems better.

Something weird happened when I came to this thread just now - before I posted today’s result, I noticed that the last post submitted was yesterday. Seemed highly unlikely to me. I started to scroll back and found the posts were all over the place, not in order at all - 1d, 2h, 2d, 2d, 23m 2d, 3h and so on, back for ages. I refreshed and it sorted itself out. Never seen that happen on any thread before

I told you that some while back Judsy. It’s on ITV every afternoon at 3 pm and called Lingo.

That’s the one I use, and the one I introduced when I started this thread.
I know there are others, in fact Marge uses one called BYRDLE which is based on classical music.
