Women's World Cup

Good to see that the England women’s team have another victory - doing a damned sight better than the men that’s for sure.

They’ve just beaten Scotland 2 - 1

Well done. :038:

Must remember to post the result in the Scottish Over-50’s thread. Chortle.

Buried their heads in the sand comes to mind…

Chortle chortle :lol::lol::lol:

Personally I cannot imagine why any woman in her right mind would want to play football - it is so unfeminine.

But to those who do - Good Luck - may the force be with you!

Women in shorts with nice legs very feminine nothing wrong with that, women have been ogling men on the pitch for years with the same attributes now its the Mens turn. bring it on.

I can honestly say I have never ogled a man’s legs !:-D:-D:

Wonder what Martin Shaw’s legs are like - the rest of him is well honed - Oooh - need a cold shower now!

I hadn’t thought of it like that basser. Thanks. :-p

Still waiting to see them swap shirts at the end of the match…

Are you surprised? Soccer is really a girl’s game they do it so much better than the men.

Not really. And they know how to play as a team and not eleven separate players.

I see the USA beat Thailand 13-0.

A good win for the team tonight. Goal number three was brilliant, destined to be the best one for the England team for quite a while.

Have you noticed also that there’s no trouble between rival fans? No drunken brawls or mindless vandalism? Funny that.

Lionessess showing really good promise!
They seem to have found the right formula in all ways!
Good attitude! Good fitness! Good technique! what more can
be said!
should be interesting from now on? especially if they play
America?

Regards Donkeyman!

One of the favourites must go out tonight when France take on the Americans.

Good game. I thought France were unlucky.

Today Italy v Netherlands and Germany v Sweden.
Should be good games.

I think it’s great that they are doing so well. I might even watch the final if they get through.

Shame about Cameroon getting knocked out.

I watched the USA v France last night. The problem for me was the number of times the ball was given away, passes limited in their success, and the big boot, route one football, beloved of lower league men’s teams. I appreciate that it will take time for levels to improve, so hopefully that will get better. On the positive side, little diving, not much spitting, (apart from Cameroon!), much better looking players, and no shirt changing. Hang on, put that last one on hold!:blush::blush:
