Why do we not fix the homelessness problem?

there is no homeless problem - we only think there is cos we live in houses - most of the homeless are ‘content’ being homeless and this has been shown in a city experiment in Oz!

Absolutely beg to differ.
The families/single parents/singles being evicted purely because the landlord wants to make a whole lot more money. Are these people content?
More and more families/single women of advanced age are being evicted because of the pure greed of landlords.
Domestic violence victims fleeing the abuse and ending up homeless surely are not content.
The number of unwillingly homeless people far outweigh those who are “content with being homeless”
Why would anyone choose to sleep on the street in sub-zero temperatures?
Australian’s are being evicted to accommodate the 500,000 plus immigrants that the government has brought here in the previous 12 months.
This sort of policy is criminal and those instigating it should be labelled treasonous.

There is a guy in his 30s lives in a field just up the road , a large housing estate and shops yards from him . He has a table and chairs outside and the tent would sleep 4 easily . He has visitors. His mum lives near by me , he goes there most days i guess to eat and wash . He returns to his tent every night . He is an alcoholic and drug user . A bit frightening to me , i avoid him but people do stop and talk . So he is happily homeless .

The situation with families being evicted is dreadful. Personally i can never see an end to it .

people who live in town doorways and stairwells and in fields in tents or barns are not homeless - they just no longer wanna live in brick houses and all the complexities they hold - some people on here seem to think that we should all look the same ; think the same and live the same?? these people are called homophobics!

Some do and some don’t. It isn’t a black and white issue.
