Where Do You See The World In 20 Years?

To be honest, the way things are going these days I’m not sure if there will be one left. Your thoughts?

In 20 years, what would wipe it out? That’s not a lot of time in the grand scheme of things.

That makes my granchildren 36 and 31 and possibly young mothers. It makes me deeply concerned for their lifes and their children . I am fearful for them . I cant even immagine life then .

Yet when I think to the two world wars and how people survived the terrible suffering and managed to live a life after. Our world is beautiful she gives us all we need for a wonderful life experience yet humans destroy her .

I dont honestly know if what or when in 20 years time . I will be long gone I hope

Unless I live to become a cantankerous old git of 100, I wont be here. However, the way everything seems to be heading, it could be a radio active waste land where only some insects survive to feast on each other.

Just read the book ‘1984’ by George Orwell, it describes almost exactly what
the the world will be like !
But our children will never know what is happening due to ‘Big Brother’ !!

I used to think we were getting better and better and the world in the future would be a better, more civilised, intellectual, kinder and tolerant place

But now I fear we may have had the best of it and the next 20 years will see year revival of the far right, intolerance and violence

I won’t be here, but …

A mere 20 years into the future, we will see more of the same. Our movements, our vehicles, our money, our habits etc will be tracked, recorded.

I believe youngsters will find it more difficult to differentiate between fact & fiction, living in a kind of virtual world of their choice. Money making will be a computer game: it’s here already with crypto mining. Erm …
