Where Do You See The World In 20 Years?

Sure! It fits how evolution has worked. All peoples are NOT equal under all conditions.

We are however all human .

Us BabyBoomers, the post WW2 children?

We are the luckiest. Never had it so good. No one will ever have it so good.

But let’s hope they do their best and make the most of it.

Further to Todgers thoughts, one bright star is that of multiculturalism. It will save mankind.

We’ll be wiped out by another solar flare as the sun shifts its gravitational poles once again. A vast EMP will engulf the Earth, catapulting us all back to the Stone Age, as all electronic devices will fry and be of no use.

Still, the likes of the Scandinavian poison dwarf, Caroline Lucas and all of their Green buddies will be pleased as industry and its attendant pollution will grind to a halt.

Wow! Such gloom and doom!

Life goes on. The more things change, the more they are the same.

People adapt to the circumstances.

Why stop at 20 years? Say instead 50.

Wokeism will have won the day and no one will dare voice any opinion … unless there is a backlash and then things could get pretty anarchic as people thrash out their grievances.
So civil unrest a daily norm.

More civil restrictions… the gulf between the have’s and the have not’s becoming wider.
Generally speaking mankind has travelled through his great age of exploration, invention and adventure and the next century will see the results of overpopulation and over exploitation of the planet.
It’ll become the age of ever diminishing horizons.

I feel real sorry for anyone who is now under 30.
They’ll bear the brunt of it.

But has there ever been circumstances like this before ?

Clearer than the last supposed millions of years or whatever.

There was doom and gloom after WW2. People were frightened and didn’t take chances after.
But… that was 75 years ago and life has just carried on…regardless.

One thing I have learned is that any prediction of the future will be totally wrong usually because they are based on existing technology (let’s face it the future in the book 1984 was the 1940s and 50s with a lot more TV sets). One thing you can say with certainty is that any government economic prediction for the coming year(s) will be absolutely wrong (economists are there purely to make astrology look good)

I mean, who predicted the fax machine? or that computers would be used to write letters.

I worry for my grandkids too but I expect every generation says that.

I think Putin is itching to use a nuclear weapon so maybe that will be the end of us all…or at least life as we know it.

I tried to be optimistic Art but honest I couldn’t think of a thing to be optimistic about ::frowning:

@Bruce, Some how l knew you’d say summat like that Brucy !
So you think putting a lot of postmen out of work is progress do you ?
Donkeyman! :-1::thinking::-1:

Technology is improving almost on a daily basis, so we have no idea of knowing what our children and grandchildren might have coming to their aid. Since the industrial revolution, mankind has progressed in leaps & bounds so for all we know the future could be bright and yet to be unveiled.
Once the Mother-ship arrives and beams us up, everything will be revealed :ok_hand::+1::point_right::wink:

It will be just the same.

Well the UK is being colonised and I’m glad that I will not have to suffer from the awful consequences. My kids and their kids are preparing to relocate to what will be a safer and better country in the coming few years. I hope to live to see them safe from what is definitely coming down the pike in the lost UK.

I agree with morty about wokeism and not feeling able to voice an opinion unless it complies with the woke.

I’m glad I won’t be here to see it , the changes I see these days annoys the life out of me.

Hopefully humans will go extinct and leave the planet to the animals its humans who are ruining a beautiful planet.

Sorry Angel for my doom and gloom but this is my thoughts on the matter.

I see humans evolving, I dread to think what into though
