When it comes to food, what do you find inedible?

You never eaten a Witchety Grub?
Cooked on the open fire?
Tastes like scrambled eggs.

Worth a try Bretrick, Iā€™ll have a go at most things as long as they are cookedā€¦
:yum:

If I lit an open fire in my neck of the woods and proceeded to roast grubs of any variety questions would be asked.

I really donā€™t want to be some kind of celebrity in the local press

Iā€™m the shy retiring type.

I spent a few months in Turkey. I was invited for dinner with about half a dozen managers. We had the initial course of raw cauliflower. Or I thought it was. It was sheepā€™s brainā€¦

As soon as I saw Turkey, Sheepā€™s Brain came to mind. :joy:
Sickly and disgusting.
How was the taste?

Brains! another delicacy denied to me, very hard to get these days. Pig or sheep I donā€™t mind.

Thank goodness heart is still easy to get!

Iā€™ve mentioned it before but my one gastronomic failure was some deep fried cockroaches and grasshoppers I bought from a stall in Cambodia. Total failure! I just could not put the cockroaches in my mouth.

Quiches, more than one piece makes me feel sick :face_vomiting:

There wasnā€™t much taste - it was the texture or rather the absence of it.

Stop it. :grinning:I am reading this while having a meal. Biryani Rice and a fresh Paratha. :yum:

Love me a quiche. Thrown together with what ever is in the fridge, and those erbs and spices found in the back of the pantry. :grinning:

I agree Chilli, I once ordered it in a restaurant by mistake, it doesnā€™t seem to have any nutritional value whatsoeverā€¦And it doesnā€™t taste of anything.

I wasnā€™t in the army Crabby, but there isnā€™t much food that I donā€™t like and Iā€™ll have a go at anything onceā€¦Belly pork failed itā€™s one chance. So if I want to keep the contents of my stomach in place Iā€™ll pass on the Belly pork.

Soup is just a more healthy version of a microwave ready meal. Depending on the soup, they are packed with a selection of healthy vegetables and it comes in a can ready to be warmed up in a pan on the hob. A couple of slices of toast and thatā€™s lunch for me on most days. I donā€™t like beer.
