What's the perfect age to get married?

That doesn’t allow for midlife crisis! I’d say it’s got to be mid-fifties or early sixties. Give the man some time to grow up!

Settle down at 35, and you don’t suffer mid life crisis.

Early 60s … that’s approaching second childhood.

I don’t see there can be a perfect age to get Wed…Looking back lots of sums need to add up…
Depends on the couple…personality wise, makes a lot of difference.
My catch was easy going and carefree, and that has paid off… :innocent:
Met him at 16 and was allowed to marry at 19 not before…so was exactly one
week past my 19th Birthday…9th September 1967…
Easy to look back, and there are some things I would change, but that is a whole booksworth… on Not so Happy Families…

In my experience mid life crisis starts with retirement planning. When calculations of net worth are made and used for retirement ambitions. BUT when it becomes obvious those ambitions are not matched by your partner, resentment builds up and plots hatched to ensure the whole value of your estate is yours to use for whatever YOU want. Hence your partner becomes surplus to requirements.
