A bit off topic but I learnt there are some subjects you shouldn’t talk about with people you’ve just met.
Many years ago my friend and I went into a pub, we got a drink and noticed there was a pool table. We sat close by waiting for the lads who were using the table to finish their game.
On the wall next to the table there was a sign that read.

I thought nothing of it and eventually we struck up a conversation with the guys on the pool table. They invited us to play a game of doubles. We accepted and were getting along fine until the subject of football innocently came up. Within ten minutes we were rolling around on the floor knocking holes out of one and other.
