I would love to master wood carving. I have tried a little but I always find the grain defeats me. There is a tenuous family link back to Grinling Gibbons great grandma was a Gibbons. However I think those genes have left our side of the family we are more hammer and sore thumb than carvers of lace cravats in wood.
For me it would be to play a musical instrument. I have many practical skills but not a musical bone in my body, I have tried many times with different instruments but without success but what a joy it must be to make music…
I’m with you on that @Barry I’ve guitars ,a banjo, a mandolin and ukuleles but I’m not sure you’d call it music when I wrestle them lol
