I wish I’d listened when people said ‘take care of your health earlier.’ What advice do you now wish you’d followed?
I didn’t ignore good advice; I just wish there had been more of that.
Take better care of your teeth
Don’t waste all of your time on social media…

Being told not to smoke. I was smoking regularly by the age of 12 and didn’t quit until I was 42. Most adults used to say smoking would ‘stunt my growth.’ I don’t know if that’s true, as I’m a leprechaun who comes from a family of leprechauns. But it’s one of the less healthy things I did that I now regret.
I don’t remember my parents, or anyone, giving advice. But I do remember a few manly comments my father made when I was young:
Work hard, play hard.
If you can’t be good, be careful.
That’s about it!

Work hard at school!
Advice that I disregarded…
Always be honest!
I don’t remember being given any advice growing up. Being a middle child with good grades throughout school years, I was mostly trusted to make the right decisions.
As it turns out, my conscience guided me most of the time. ![]()
‘Always listen to good advice’.
The thing is, how do you know the advice is ‘good’, unless you use it?
Don’t make any noise when your Dad is on Nights…

“If somebody else stuck their head in the fire would you do it?”
Something my dad would say to me on a regular basis.
Ignoring my mom when she said “Don’t squeeze your pimples.”
If I had listened, I’d probably be dangerously good-looking by now.
