I like men who make me laugh. I like men who look and smell clean. I love to see a man in a really expensive looking shirt and jeans.

In that case, we would get on well together as I have always had my shirts made to fit my body. Off-the-peg has never fitted me as a good well made shirt should.

Physical attractiveness might be the first thing to grab your attention, but the charm of it wears off pretty quickly if it is accompanied by a dull or unpleasant character and personality. On the other hand, someone with unremarkable looks can become incredibly attractive if they are intelligent and funny. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

There’s a sort of calm sophistication I’m attracted to in a pretty woman. Someone who is in control, under control. You can sense it in the way she dresses, in the way she walks, talks and holds herself. It’s not about being clever or flashy, quite the opposite really: it’s about confidence,

I am assuming the topic “What qualities attract.” Means the initial attraction, rather than a developing attraction. And for me, that initial attraction varies from person to person. It could be eyes, humour, voice, any number of things that takes them from just someone, to someone I notice more than others.

But one thing that does stand out as an attractive quality in others, for me.

Breathing. That is always a good start for me. As I learnt during a first aid course, that breathing means a heart beat too. So breathing = 2 real positives.

Initially it’s a smile, laugh perhaps.

But if we get into the detail then…I don’t think my list will be very different from the other women. We all want these qualities in our men more or less.

So, I’ll just go ahead and note the most important qualities I would want him to have, I am sorry if these are repeated:

  1. Somebody who takes care of himself: Personal hygiene. I would appreciate if once in a while he would wear nice clothes & smell nice. :kissing_closed_eyes:

  2. Somebody who knows the importance of health & fitness, but is ready to dive into a giant pudding once in a while.:upside_down_face:

  3. Somebody who is mature enough to give me advice when I am confused but can also be childish enough to pillow fight. He should be wise and mature, and should be able to bring me back on track when I lose direction. But, should be crazy enough to turn into a kid at times.

  4. Somebody who knows what he wants: He should know what he wants from life, personally and professionally and should be determined enough to achieve it. He should be clear-minded and able to make logical and rational decisions when required.

  5. Somebody who can make me laugh :joy:

  6. Somebody who can motivate me: Somebody who can stand by me, support me, motivate me to do better. Somebody who can act like an inspiration in times of need.

  7. Somebody who is passionate about at-least one thing in his life: It can be a sport, a career, a hobby. Anything!

  8. Somebody who makes efforts: Effort is attractive. It need not be something big, just small gestures of care and affection, that can make me realise how important I am to him.

  9. Somebody who listens: Sometimes all a woman wants is somebody who can listen, even though we know you can not deal with our problems for us.

  10. Somebody who is not shy of expressing himself: We all know men like to keep it short and simple, but sometimes its important to tell us what you feel, we can not know everything!

  11. Somebody who doesn’t give up: On people and relationships as well as goals and ambitions. Who doesn’t give up on me because I can be a handful at times! :yum:

  12. Somebody who is loyal: Spoil me with your loyalty, treat me like his Queen, have eyes only for me! I’m the jealous type :rofl:

I think that is all…oh and I don’t care too much about looks or wealth as long as he’s independent as I can finance myself.
